Objective: To examine the status quo of early postoperative stigma in patients with intestinal ostomy and analyze the influence of demographic characteristics, social support and self-efficacy of ostomy on the early postoperative stigma in patients with intestinal ostomy. The models of perceived social support,self-efficacy of ostomy and early postoperative and stigma of patients with intestinal ostomy were constructed by structural equation model, and the mechanism of action path among the three variables was discussed, which provided the basis for medical staff to formulate targeted intervention plans in the future. Methods: Using the convenient sampling method,234 cases of enterostomy patients in three grade a hospitals in hefei, anhui province were selected. The PSSS,SSES and SIS were used to investigate the patients with enterostomy(the postoperative time < 3months).SPSS17.0 statistical analysis software was used to conduct univariate analysis of the early stigma of patients with enterostomy and their demographic characteristics. Two independent sample t tests were used for bicategorical variables, and univariate analysis of variance was used for multigroup variables.Pearson was used to carry out correlation analysis on social support,self-efficacy of ostomy and stigma, and early postoperative stigma of patients with intestinal ostomy was analyzed by Multiple linear regression.Amos17.0 was used to construct models of social support, ostomy self-efficacy and stigma, and to analyze the relationship among the three. Results: The 234 patients investigated in this study had a total score of(73.15±9.21)interms of early postoperative stigma.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that education level, age, frequency of ostomy leakage, social support and self-efficacy were the influence factors of early stigma in patients with ostomy.Pearson correlation analysis showed that early postoperative social support was negatively correlated with stigma(r=-0.628,P < 0.01),and the self-efficacy of ostomy was negatively correlated with stigma(r=-0.765,P < 0.01).The structural equation model(sem)results showed that ostomy self-efficacy played a mediating role between social support and stigma. Conclusion: The patients with enterostomy have a higher sense of stigma in the early stage after operation. In order to improve the level of patients' support, medical staff actively cooperate with patients' families and patients, and take targeted measures to improve patients' social support and self-efficacy of stoma,so as to reduce the level of patients' stigma.
