| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Huazhuo Qingqiao Formula on homocysteine,blood pressure and TCM syndromes in patients with H-hypertension of phlegm-dampness congestion and evaluate its safety.Methods:64 patients with H-hypertension of phlegm-dampness congestion were enrolled in this study.During the observation,2 cases were excluded and dropped out,and 62 cases were the final cases,including 32 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the treatment group.The control group was treated with routine western medicine,namely valsartan amlodipine combined with folic acid tablets.The treatment group was given Huazhuo Qingqiao Recipe on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 4 weeks in both groups.Serum homocysteine level,blood pressure and TCM syndromes were observed before and after treatment.Finally,the results were analyzed by statistical method.Result:1.The age,course of disease and sex of the two groups were compared before treatment.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Comparisons of common blood pressure after treatment:The curative effect of lowering blood pressure in treatment group was better than that in control group(P <0.05).3.Comparison of disease curative effect:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33% and that of the control group was 87.50%.Both groups could effectively reduce blood pressure level,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of TCM syndromes:the total effective rate of the treatment group was93.33%,and that of the control group was 50.00%.The treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).5.Comparison of TCM syndrome integral:The improvement of TCM syndrome integral in treatment group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).6.Comparing the single syndromes of TCM:After treatment,the scores of each single syndromes of TCM in the treatment group were lower than before(P<0.05).The control group was compared before and after treatment.The results showed that the dizziness,headache,headache and insomnia symptoms were improved after treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05);but there was no significant improvement in chest tightness,vomiting,spitting,salivation,palpitation,palpitation and lack of food(P>0.05).After treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving TCM symptoms,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.In the aspect of serum homocysteine,the Hcy of the two groups decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment,with statistical difference(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the level of Hcy in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).8.24-hour ambulatory blood pressure indicators:before treatment,there was no difference in 24-hour average systolic blood pressure,24-hour average diastolic blood pressure and other indicators between the two groups(P>0.05),with comparability;after treatment,24-hour ambulatory blood pressure indicators in the two groups decreased compared with beforetreatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,there were differences in24-hour mean systolic blood pressure,24-hour mean diastolic blood pressure,day mean systolic blood pressure,night mean systolic blood pressure and night mean diastolic blood pressure between the two groups(P<0.05).The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group;there was no significant difference in the day mean diastolic blood pressure between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Huazhuo Qingqiao Formula has good clinical efficacy and safety in treating H-type hypertension with phlegm-dampness congestion.It can effectively reduce the level of serum homocysteine and blood pressure,and improve many TCM syndromes.It has high clinical application value. |
