| Objective With the rapid increase in the prevalence of diabetes and overweight/obesity,it has become a global public health problem.Weight gain is an independent risk factor for type 2diabetes,increasing the difficulty of glycemic control in type 2diabetes.For patients with overweight/obesity type 2 diabetes,it is important to strengthen weight management while reducing blood sugar,which is important for the stable control of blood sugar,prevention of chronic complications of diabetes,and improving patients' life quality.This article aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Yunpi Huazhuo Recipe on patients with overweight/obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus with syndrome of Qi and Yin deficiency and phlegm-dampness,by observing clinical symptoms,blood sugar,blood lipid levels,body mass index,body weight and waist circumference.By observing the relevant safety indicators and the number of cases of adverse events,the safety of Yunpi Huazhuo prescription in clinical application was evaluated,which provided an objective basis for its wide clinical application.Methods This study collected a total of 64 patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2016 to October 2018,and were in line with the diagnostic criteria for overweight/obesity type 2 diabetes,and was classified as Qi and Yin Dificiency and Phlegm-Dampness syndrome acording to TCM dialectical Type.According to the principle of randomized control,the two groups of patients were treated with the basic western medicine metformin combined with acarbose in the premise of basic living intervention treatment.The experimental group was treated with Yunpi Huazhuo recipe,unified to 200 ml,2 times a day,1 hour after meals,oral administration for 12 weeks as a course of treatment,12 weeks after follow-up overweight/obesity related indicators,comparison of TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment,Chinese medical efficacy analysis,fasting blood glucose,after meals 2h blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,blood lipid levels and indicators related to overweight/obesity.Results(1)The comparison of TCM syndrome scores and the clinical effect of TCM syndromes before and after treatment in the two groups:the two groups were compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the comparison between groups(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.6 cases in the test group recovered,accounting for 18.75%,14 cases were markedly effective,accounting for 43.75%,10 cases were effective,accounting for 31.25%,2 cases were ineffective,accounting for 6.25%,total effective rate 93.75%,3 cases in the control group recovered,accounting for 9.38%,6 cases were markedly effective,accounting for 18.75%,18 cases were effective,accounting for 56.25%,5 cases were ineffective,accounting for 15.62%,the total effective rate was 84.38%,statistically processed Analysis(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.Indicating that both groups can improve the clinical Symptoms,and the test group was significantly better than the control group in improving the clinical Symptoms.(2)Comparison of fasting blood glucose,2h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin before and after treatment:The FPG,PBG and Hb A1 c of the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of blood sugar in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.It showed that the control group and the experimental group had significant hypoglycemic effect,and the experimental group was superior to the control group in regulating blood sugar.(3)Comparison of blood lipid levels before and after treatment in the two groups:TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C were improved after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups of treatment can reduce blood lipid levels in patients,and the test group is significantly better than the control group in improving blood lipids.(4)Comparison of the indicators of overweight/obesity before and after treatment in the two groups:the body weight,waist circumference,waist-to-hip ratio and body mass index of the two groups were decreased in both groups(P<0.05).And the improvement of the weight and body mass index was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement of waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio was not significantly different between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that the test group and the control group had the effects of reducing body weight,waist circumference,waist-to-hip ratio and body mass index.The test group was superior to the control group in improving body weight and body mass index,but there was no significant difference in the improvement of waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio between the two groups.(5)Safety observation:According to the blood analysis,urine analysis,stool analysis,liver and kidney function,electrocardiogram monitoring of the two groups before and after treatment,it is suggested that the relevant safety indicators have no obvious abnormality before and after treatment,indicating the security of the test is good.Conclusions Yunpi Huazhuo Recipe can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of overweight/obesity type 2 diabetes patients with Qi and Yin deficiency and phlegm-dampness syndrome,effectively reduce TCM syndrome scores of patients,and improve blood sugar,glycosylated hemoglobin,blood lipid levels,the indicators of overweight/obesity.Compared with western medicine treatment,integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment is more conducive to improving the clinical symptoms of patients,and is more beneficial to stable control of blood sugar and blood lipid levels and weight loss,and improving the quality of life of patients. |
