| Objective To observe the clinical effect of meridian and governor vessel-unblocking acupuncture for treating blood stasis type of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion.Methods Sixty patients with blood stasis type of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion who met the inclusion criteria in this study were selected from the Outpatient Department of Rehabilitation in Sanming Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Fujian from January 2018 to January 2019.Based on a random number table,the patients were randomly divided into meridian and governor vessel-unblocking acupuncture group(treatment group)and routine acupuncture group(control group),with 30 patients per group.In the control group,Shenshu point(bilateral),Dae-chang shu point(bilateral),Ashi point,Weizhong point(bilateral)and Geshu point(bilateral)were selected.In the treatment group,Houxi point(bilateral)and lumbar jiaji(bilateral)points corresponding to the vertebral body involved by lesions were taken on the basis of acupoint selection in the control group.On the basis of acupoint selection in the control group,the treatment group added Houxi point(bilateral)and combined with lumbar Jiaji point penetration needling.The purpose of this method is to access the Du Meridian and the Bladder Meridian,so as to dredge the whole body meridians,promote the normal operation of the whole body Qi and blood,and enhance the effect of activating blood circulation,removing blood stasis and relieving pain.Lumbar jiaji points,Ashi point,Wezhong point adopted the method of lifting and thrusting twirling to deflate,and the other acupoints adopted the method of plain replenishing and plain deflating,and the manipulation should be done every 10 minutes and the acupuncture was kept for 20 minutes.Both groups were treated once a day for 6 consecutive times as a course of treatment,with 1 day of rest between two courses of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment(12 times).The changes in VAS score,JOA score for low back pain and pressure pain threshold(PPT)in the 2 groups before and after treatment were observed and recorded,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the scores.All date were analyzed by SPSS21.0.Results The VAS score of the treatment group was 6.34±0.61 before treatment and 2.03±1.68 after treatment,with a difference of 4.31±1.69.In the control group,6.50±0.79 before treatment,3.32±2.16 after treatment,and the difference was 3.18±2.02.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The JOA score of the treatment group was13.14±2.56 before treatment,23.55±4.18 after treatment,the difference was 10.41±3.33;The control group was 13.32 2.04 before treatment,20.93±3.55 after treatment,and the difference was 7.61±3.82.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).PPT(Pressure Pain Threshold,PPT)of treatment group before treatment was 2.76±0.43,6.62±1.33 after treatment;The control group was 2.77±0.56 before treatment and 5.45±1.81 after treatment,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 93.10% in the treatment group and 78.57% in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Through statistical analysis of the data,both the treatment group and the control group had curative effect on the treatment of blood stasis type of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and improved the indicators,but the improvement degree of the indicators in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group.?Conclusion Meridian and governor vessel-unblocking acupuncture have significant efficacy in the treatment of blood stasis lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion.It deserves to be spread and studied in the clinic. |
