At present,some problems in medical services are becoming increasingly serious,such as the strained relation between doctors and patients,the frequent medical accidents,the infringement of doctors' personal safety and rights,etc.For this reason,medical trust system is facing a serious crisis.Medical trust system is constituted by Organizational trust within hospitals and doctor-patient trust which interrelate and interact with each other,and maintain the normal operation and healthy development of the medical system.However,the academic community lacks the concern for Organizational trust within hospitals.Organizational trust within hospitals mainly refers to the medical personnel's trust to hospital,research on its influencing mechanism establishes a foundation for improving organizational trust within hospital,strengthening organization cohesiveness as well as belongingness of medical personnel,relieving the tension between doctors and patients in today's society,and resolving the crisis of medical trust.Hospital is a modern professional organization.From the perspective of sociology of occupation,the author establishes a research framework based on "professional jurisdiction" and "professional career mode" in Occupational System Theory,as well as "expert system" in Anthony Giddens' s Trust Theory to explore the influencing mechanism on Organizational trust within hospitals.Using qualitative research method,the author carries out investigations and semi-structured interviews with twenty doctors who are working in three public hospitals in Chongqing.Through the analysis of the interview results,the following conclusions are drawn: The factors affecting Organizational trust within hospitals can be divided into internal and external ones.Internal factors include institutional factor and organizational climate factor.External factors include doctor-patient relationship and national policy factor.Through professional jurisdiction,professional career mode and medical experts system,these four factors influence the Organizational trust within hospitals,with constituting a complex influencing mechanism on Organizational trust within hospitals together.
