Study Of The Trust Crisis Between Doctors—Patients On The View Of Medical Health System

As the advance of reform, the medical health system has made great progresses. But there are still some problems in our medical health system. The problems of “difficulties and high expenses of getting medical services” still can’t be solved thoroughly. And incidents about violence injury towards medical staffs happen recently have made the relationship of doctors and patients become focus point of medical health system. There are many reasons why the relationship of doctors and patients becomes tense, even contradicted. One of them that the crisis of trust between doctors and patients plays an important role. Patients cannot attend medical services assuredly and none the doctors supply the medical services. There is no trust between them at all. How to solve this trust crisis and rebuild trust relationship between doctors and patients have been studying among scholars.The crisis of trust between doctors and patients is a kind of reflect in medical industry of society declined trust level and disorder. As the development of society, the obstacles of social life have been broken. The traditional trust relationship in the past hasn’t existed any more. The mobility of people and the complexity of society reduced acquaintance among people. The doctors and patients are strangers and their contact happens only in the progress of diagnose and treatment. This short contact cannot build a long and stable trust relationship between them. As the establishment of market economy, doctors’ values changes and they become benefit-drove. They also pay more attention on self’s development and protection. So the noble behavior and short contact cannot build trust between doctors and patients. Only by the build of medical system, can this problem solved.But now the development of medical health system in our country is not perfect: Short-supply of medical service, outdated price system of medical services and unscientific management of hospital. The medical health system cannot adapt to the need of high quality of medical services under the development of market economy, also cannot satisfy medical staffs’ career development need. Unreasonable system makes the relationship of doctors and patients weaker.The paper pays attention on the trust crisis between doctors and patients from the view of medical health system, elaborating the situation of trust crisis between doctors and patients, pointing out types of contradiction between the two sides, analyzing the reasons of this trust crisis and put forwards some strategies of rebuilding trust relationship between doctors and patients from the reform of medical health system.
