| Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of self-designed Bus henpinggan decoction in treating essential hypertension with Yinxuyangk ang type,and to provide a basis for the clinical application of TCM in the treatment of essential hypertension with Yinxuyangkang type.Methods: A total of 73 patients with essential hypertension who m et the inclusion criteria were collected from the cardiovascular departme nt of Hebei hospital of traditional Chinese medicine and randomly divid ed into the experimental group and the control group.A total of 37 pat ients in the control group were treated with levamlodipine maleate tablet s.In the experimental group,one case fell off;A total of 36 cases wer e treated with levamlodipine maleate tablets and self-designed Bushenpin ggan decoction,one case fell off.The changes of TCM syndrome score,syndrome effect,sitting blood pressure,all-day mean blood pressure,bl ood pressure variability,carotid medial thickness and liver and kidney f unction before and after treatment in the two groups were observed for 4 weeks.Results:1.TCM syndrome points and curative effect: before treatment,there was no statistical significance in syndrome points between the two groups(P>0.05).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome after treatment was 91.43% in the experimental group,and 75% in the control group.2.Sitting blood pressure,all-day mean blood pressure and blood pr essure variability: After treatment,the SBP and DBP of sitting position in both groups were lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),the SBP and DBP of sitting position in the experimental group were higher tha n those in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in 24 hSBP,24hDBP,24hSBP-SD and 24hDBP-SD bet ween the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment,the 24 hSBP,24hDBP and 24hSBP-SD of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).In summary,after 4 weeks of treatment,the SBP,DBP,24 hSBP,24hDBP,24hSBP-SD were statistically different betwee n the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).However,24 hD BP-SD showed no significant difference before and after treatment(P>0.05).3.Liver and kidney function and CIMT: there were no statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in liver and kidney function and CIMT before and after treatment(P>0.05).4.No obvious adverse reactions were reported in the two groups during the experiment.Conclusions: Bushenpinggan decoction combined with levamlodipine maleate tablets can reduce the blood pressure of patients with essential hypertension,improve their clinical symptoms and reduce the variability of systolic blood pressure.Bushenpinggan decoction combined with lev amlodipine maleate tablets is safe and effective in the treatment of esse ntial hypertension,and the effect is better than levamlodipine maleate ta blets alone. |
