The Clinical Research Of Acupuncture And Moxibustion With TCM Hot Package In Treating The Intractable Hiccup Of Stagnant Qi Movement Syndromes

Objectives To study the difference of clinical curative effect between acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot package and conventional acupuncture and simple traditional Chinese medicine hot package in the treatment of intractable hiccup,so as to provide a new therapy for the treatment of intractable hiccup.Methods According to the inclusion criteria,60 patients with intractable hiccup were selected in clinical practice and divided into three groups with 20 patients in each group as the random number table.The experimental group adopted the method of conventional acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot package.20 patients were treated by acupuncturing acupoints Zhongwan(CV12),Neiguan(PV6),Zusanli(ST36)and Taichong(LR3)and selecting Shenque(CV8)Point as the ironing part of traditional Chinese medicine package.The control group 1 used conventional acupuncture therapy,and selected the acupoints as the experimental group.Compared the first two group,20 patients in the control group 2 were treated with simple traditional Chinese medicine hot package and the location of acupoints was the same as the experimental group.The hiccup status and other symptoms of qi stagnation except hiccup were observed before and after treatment,and were measured by scoring table.Results In the improvement of hiccup symptoms,the effective rate was 95% in the 20 patients in the experimental group,90% in the 20 patients in the control group1 and 60% in the 20 patients in the control group2,with significant difference(P=0.004 < 0.05),but both the experimental group and the control group could alleviate hiccup effectively(P=0.318>0.0167).In terms of improving the accompanying symptoms of hiccup of qi stagnation type,the effective rate of 20 patients in the experimental group was 90%,that of 20 patients in the control group was 80%,and that of 20 patients in the control group was 50%.The experimental group was superior to the two control groups,with significant difference(P=0.005 < 0.05).In terms of total effective rate,the total effective rate was 98% in the 20 patients in the experimental group and 85% in the 20 patients in the control group.Of the 20 patients in the control group,the total effective rate was 60%.There was a significant difference among the three groups(P=0.004 < 0.05),and the effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.Conclusions The results showed that acupuncture and needling combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot package can improve the hiccup symptoms of patients.The effect of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot package therapy is better than ordinary acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine hot package therapy.It is worthy of clinical application.Figure 0;Table 12;Reference 120...
