Clinical Observation Of Xuebijing In Improving Immune Function And Nutritional Status In Patients With Sepsis

Objective:Purposes of the clinical observation are two sides.One is to investigate whether Xuebijing injection can improve the immune function,nutritional status and clinical efficacy of sepsis patients with risk of malnutrition by observing the treatment of Xuebijing injection in sepsis patients with risk of malnutrition.And the other is to provide new ideas and scientific basis for the treatment of sepsis by Chinese medicine.Methods:This study collected 64 sepsis patients who met the inclusion criteria during the period from July 2017 to February 2019 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each including32 cases.According to the 2016 Guidelines for the Treatment of Sepsis,the two groups of patients were treated with anti-infection,respiratory support,circulatory support,nutritional support,and symptomatic treatment of primary diseases.The patients in the control group were treated with intravenous infusion of 0.9% sodium chloride injection on the basis of routine treatment of western medicine.The patients in the experimental group were treated with Xuebijing injection on the basis of routine treatment of western medicine.Peripheral blood of the two groups were taken on the 1st,4th,and7 th day of enrollment,and the SOFA score and APACHE II score were observed,and the changes were observed.Comparison of the LYM,MONO,ALB levels and TCM syndrome scores were on the 1st and 7th day of enrollment.All patients were counted for ICU stay.Finally,the data obtained are statistically analyzed to complete the final evaluation.Result:There was no significant difference in gender,age and other general data between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the LYM,MONO,ALB,APACHE II score,SOFA score,and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were improved,and the experimental group was superior to the control group.The difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05).In addition,in the ICU time,the experimental group was also superior to the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.Xuebijing injection can effectively improve the level of LYM and MONO of sepsis patients with nutritional risk and improve immune function.2.Xuebijing injection can effectively improve the ALB levels of sepsis patients with nutritional risk and improve nutritional status.3.Xuebijing injection can effectively reduce the APACHE II score and SOFA score of patients with sepsis who have nutritional risk,shorten the time of ICU stay and improve clinical efficacy.4.Xuebijing injection can effectively reduce the TCM syndrome scores of sepsis patients with nutritional risk,and improve the curative effect of TCM symptoms.
