Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Post-stroke Cognitive Impairment By Using The Acupuncture Method Of 'Gong' On The Head

Objective:Clinical observation on the treatment of post-stroke cognitive impairment by using the acupuncture method of ‘gong' on the head.Method:Sixty patients with poststroke cognitive impairment admitted to the second department of acupuncture and moxibustion of the first affiliated hospital of heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine from January to September 2018 were selected.And through the random number grouping method,is divided into the gong acupuncture group with 30 people,the control group with 30 people.The gong acupuncture group was treated with the acupuncture method of ‘gong' on the head.The control group was given the treatment of dementia in Acupuncture.Patients in the two groups received acupuncture for 40 min each time,and were treated for 6 days per week and rested for 1 day.Patients in the two groups were treated for 2 weeks as a course of treatment.And there were 4 courses of treatment in total.After the end of the treatment,the scores of MMSE and MoCA of the patients before and after the treatment were analyzed and compared,to observe the clinical efficacy of professor ‘gong' on the head in the treatment of post-stroke cognitive impairment.Result1.MMSE scale evaluation: the MMSE score of gong acupuncture group after the treatment was significantly better than that before the treatment(P <0.05).MMSE score in the control group was improved after the treatment compared with before the treatment(P < 0.05).The improvement of MMSE score before and after the treatment in the gong acupuncture group was significantly better than that in the control group.2.MoCA scale evaluation: After the treatment,MoCA score in the gong acupuncture group was significantly better than that before the treatment(P <0.05).MoCA score in the control group improved after the treatment compared with before the treatment(P < 0.05).The improvement of MoCA score in the gong acupuncture group before and after the treatment was significantlybetter than that in the control group.Conclusion1.The acupuncture method of ‘gong' on the head can significantly improve the cognitive ability of patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment and improve the quality of life of patients.2.The acupuncture method of ‘gong' on the head has certain advantages over the traditional acupuncture method and can be popularized and applied in clinical practice.
