Objectives:A randomized controlled method was used to observe the clinical efficacy of auricular acupoint pressing for the treatment of hernia zoster with heat syndrome. Methods:A total of 70 patients were enrolled in the dermatology department of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into a treatment group of 35 cases and a control group of 35 cases. The two groups of patients were given basic treatment. The treatment group was treated with auricular acupoint pressing on the basic treatment, and the control group was only given basic treatment. After the end of treatment, the data of the two groups of patients on the comprehensive efficacy evaluation, herpes evaluation index, pain evaluation index and comprehensive efficacy score and other adverse reactions were statistically analyzed and compared.Results:1.Before the treatment, the general data and related observation indexes of the treatment group and the control group were statistically analyzed. The results were P>0.05,which was not statistically significant, indicating that they were comparable;2.After the statistical analysis of the overall efficacy of the two groups, the results were not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups in the overall efficacy can not explain the difference;3.During the treatment period, the increase in blister cessation in the two groups was statistically significantly different(P < 0.05);4.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the blister scar and crust fall time(P>0.05).5.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups of post-treatment pain intensity VAS scores and the pain intensity VAS scores before treatment(P<0.01).6.There was a statistically significant difference in the pain intensity VAS score between the two groups after treatment(P<0.01);7.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in pain relief time(P<0.05);8.There were no patients with residual herpes zoster neuralgia in both groups.Conclusions:1.Western medicine routine treatment of herpes zoster is very good effect;2.It can shorten the time to stop the blister, but has no obvious curative effect on the scab formation time and crust-shedding time of the skin lesions;3.Auricular acupoint pressing can shorten the time of pain relief and relieve neuralgia to a greater extent.4.In terms of age distribution, the proportion of subjects older than 40 years old was significantly higher than that of subjects younger than 40 years old, suggesting that the prevalence of shingles was significantly correlated with age.
