Objective To investigate the current situation of fragmented time,mobile phone addiction and its influencing factors among college students from several universities of Hainan,and to adopt time management knowledge education and psychological guidance for intervention,to explore the effect of intervention,and to provide scientific basis for the education and management of hainan university students.Methods A multi-level random sampling method was used to select 2753 students from 4 universities in Hainan.Using the basic information questionnaire,the fragmentation time application questionnaire,the time fragmentation questionnaire,the mobile addiction tendency scale,the time management disposition inventory,and the inventory of interpersonal problems to investigate the current situation of fragmented time,mobile phone addiction of university students.A typical sampling method was used to select students from the school of public health of hainan medical college?85 students?as experimental group and management school students?118students?as the control group.A three-month intervention study was conducted and questionnaires were conducted before,during and after the intervention.Results The total time of application of fragment time of university students in Hainan was 213.18±100.50 minutes,the top three applications of fragment time were checking Microblog,WeChat and QQ,browsing news,videos and learning.The totaltime of application of fragment time was statistically significant in different schools,genders,grades and majors(F??=14.804,P<0.001;F??=14.022,P<0.001;F??=6.946,P<0.001;F??=2.968,P=0.019);The total duration of time fragmentation was 111.00±66.73 minutes,with statistically significant difference among different schools,grades,and majors?F??=54.773,P<0.001;F??=14.709,P<0.001;F??=3.389,P=0.009?.The total score of time management disposition of college students was 142.64±22.07,which was weakly negatively correlated with the total time of application of debris every day and the total time of fragmentation?r=-0.112,P<0.001;r=-0.100,P<0.001?.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender??=19.759?,grade??=6.399?,Hainan Medical University??=-16.978?,Hainan University??=-16.405?,Hainan Normal University??=-20.203?,specialty of art??=27.299?and TMDS total score??=-0.526?were the factors affecting the time of fragmentation and gender was the most influential factor.Grade??=3.218?,Hainan University??=37.704?,liberal arts??=-12.020?,specialty of science??=-14.047?and TMDS total score??=-0.317?were the factors affecting the time of fragmentation and Hainan University was the most influential factor.The mobile phone addiction rate of college students in Hainan was 26.9%?648/2407?.Female students reported higher withdrawal symptoms than male students?t=-3.903,P<0.001?.Social comfort from was higher form rural area students than urban students?t=-2.417,P=0.016?.The score of mobile phone addiction and that of its 4dimensions were different in different grades?P<0.05?.Significant different were found in the score of mobile phone addiction,outstanding behavior and social comfort in different disciplines?P<0.05?.The score of interpersonal problem and that of its 8 factors were higher in addicts than non-addicts?P<0.001?.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the total score of interpersonal problem scale??=0.188?,Hainan University??=4.455?,daily mobile phone usage time??=-1.129?,and the use time of mobile phone during breaks between classes??=0.011?,dining mobile phone usage time??=0.022?,professional learning mobile phone usage time??=0.038?,physiological demand mobile phone usage time??=0.037?and interpersonal communication mobile phone usage time??=0.030?were the factors affecting mobile phone addiction and the total score of interpersonal problem scale was the most influential factor.The results of mixed linear model analysis showed that the total score of interpersonal relationship is the influencing factor of the intervention effect of the total fragment time,the total of time fragmentation time and of the total score of mobile phone addiction of college students.The regression coefficients were 0.7729,0.4829 and 0.2356,respectively.Conclusions The utilization rate of fragmentation time of Hainan college students was poor,and the proportion of fragment time per day was significant,with statistically significant difference among different schools and majors.The mobile phone addiction rate was high,and the main influencing factors were interpersonal relationships and excessive use of mobile phone.It is necessary to enrich college students'spare time,improve their interpersonal skills,strengthen time management education,enhance the concept of time,guide them to use mobile phone rationally,and then make full use of fragmented time,prevent time fragmentation and reduce mobile phone addiction.Time management knowledge education and psychological guidance had no obvious effect on time fragmentation and mobile phone addiction of college students.Interpersonal relationship was the influencing factor of the intervention effect.It can further explore the way of combining with other intervention methods and by extending the intervention time to improve the effectiveness of the intervention.
