Objective1.To assess the knowledge, the attitude, the behavior and negative emotional state of young syphilitic patients, and that provides the basis for further research.2.On the basis of the theory of Knowledge-attitude-practice,education health was conducted for these patients, aiming to improve their awareness rate of syphilis prevention knowledge, compliance with medical behavior, enhancing the confidence of patients to overcome the disease,in order to reduce negative emotions and improve their quality of life. Methods The subject is divided into two parts: descriptive research and experimental research. In the descriptive study,110 cases of young syphilis patients admitted to the affiliated a third grade hospital from November 2017 to February 2018 were selected according to the exclusion and inclusion criteria, and their knowledge, attitude, practice and negative emotions were evaluated. In the experimental study,96 cases of young syphilis patients admitted to the affiliated a third grade hospital from March 2018 to November 2018 were selected as research objects by using convenient sampling method. The control group was treated with routine nursing, and the experimental group was treated with the theory of Knowledge-attitude-practice,and for the first time in two groups of patients, four weeks and twelve weeks when the questionnaire method is adopted to patients with Knowledge-attitude-practice,,anxiety,depression scores for evaluation. Results(?)Descriptive researchThere were 110 patients investigated, but 8 patients received invalid questionnaires. Finally,a total of 102 patients completed this investigation. The results are as follows:1.Aspects of KAPThe scores of syphilis related knowledge, belief and behavior of patients were at a lower level, and most patients lacked cognition of syphilis, had weak belief, and did not have good medical compliance.1.1 KnowledgeAmong the studied patients, the accuracy of syphilis knowledge was only 27.8%,51.0% were uncertain, and 21.2% were negative.Among them,"does the sexual partner of syphilis patient need to go to a hospital to check" answer accuracy rate is highest at41.9%,"eat together with syphilis patient, shake hands to wait for daily contact to be able to transmit syphilis" answer accuracy rate is lowest at 16.3%.1.2 AttitudeAmong the studied patients, only 59.3% held a positive attitude toward the disease,29.8% held an uncertain attitude, and 10.9% held a negative attitude.Among them,72.1% of the patients said they were "confident to establish and change their bad behaviors",while 51.2% of the patients were not optimistic or sure about "systematic and standardized treatment".1.3 PracticeOnly 42.0% of the studied patients had good medical compliance behaviors,35.9%of the patients expressed uncertainty, and 22.1% of the patients responded negatively.Among them,44.2% of the patients said they could regularly draw blood for reexamination, but 67.4% said they could not insist on not abusing antibiotics.2.Negative emotionsAmong the studied patients,80.4% had anxiety symptoms, among which 20(19.6%)had severe anxiety;symptoms of depression were as high as 84.30%,and 14(13.7%)of them were severely depressed.(?)Experimental researchA total of 96 patients were included in this study, and 10 cases were lost to follow-up.Finally,86 patients completed this study,43 in the control group and 43 in the experimental group. There were no statistically significant differences in ethnicity, gender, age, marital status, education level, monthly income, occupation,TPPA between the two groups(P>0.05).The remaining results are as follows:1.Aspects of KAP1.1 KnowledgeThe knowledge difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(F=18.092,P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant at different times(F=82.667,P<0.05).Meanwhile,there was an interaction between the groups and time(F=15.632,P<0.05).1.2 AttitudeThere was a statistically significant difference in beliefs between the experimental group and the control group(F=5.021,P<0.05),and there was a statistically significant difference at different times(F=37.352,P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant interaction between the groups and time(F=1.688,P>0.05).1.3 PracticeThe behavioral difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(F=40.648,P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant at different times(F=64.197,P<0.05).Meanwhile,there was an interaction between the groups and time(F=9.286,P<0.05).2.Negative emotions2.1 AnxietyThere was a statistically significant difference in SAS scores between the experimental group and the control group(F=8.101,P<0.05),and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups at different times(F=99.238,P<0.05).Meanwhile,there was an interaction between the two groups and time(F=3.622,P<0.05).2.2 DepressionThere were statistically significant differences in SDS scores between the experimental group and the control group(F=7.261,P<0.05),statistically significant differences between different times(F=87.665,P<0.05),and interaction between groups and time(F=6.313,P<0.05).Conclusion1.Young syphilis patients have low knowledge rate and high incidence of unsafely behaviors, with severe anxiety,depression.2.Using the "theory of KAP" to conduct healthy education for syphilis patients can improve the awareness rate of disease-related knowledge of patients, help patients to establish good compliance with medical behavior and healthy lifestyle. It is useful in clinical practice.3.At four weeks and twelve weeks, both the control group and the experimental group showed an increase in the attitude, which was higher than the first measurement score, and the score in March was higher than the score in four weeks. However, whether the "theory of KAP" can enhance the confidence of patients in overcoming the disease remains to be further studied.4.The use of "theory of KAP" for the health of syphilis patients education, can reduce the anxiety and depression of patients.
