With the increase of the incidence of cardiovascular diseases and mental diseases, the number of people with coronary heart disease and depression increases year by year, and somatic diseases coexist with mental disorders, which seriously affect the quality of life and prognosis of patients, while the incidence of depression is hidden and the clinical manifestations are diverse, which is not conducive to early detection.Finding biological markers in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with depression can help with early intervention and improve the prognosis of patients.Brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)is a member of the family of neurotrophic factors, which plays an important role in regulating the formation, survival and maintenance of biological function of blood vessels and neurons.Coronary heart disease and depression are interrelated.Exploring the relationship between BDNF and coronary heart disease and depression may help to explore the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease and depression, explore the pathways connecting the two diseases and assist to seek a new biomarker for evaluate theoccurrence and development of the two diseases, the research progress of BDNF in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with depression was reviewed.
