ObjectiveThis study was surveyed that used a cross-sectional study of clinical epidemiological research methods with neck-healthy subjects as research subjects in several research centers across the country(Chengdu,Changsha,Guiyang,etc.).To establish the pain threshold of the neck acupoint, which the subjective feelings of the human body were transformed into objective data by using the electronic Von Frey Anesthesiometer and Wanger instrument. The healthy people were observed about the mechanical pain threshold and the range of tenderness threshold and the influencing factors of the acupoints. The normal defined value provides a reference basis for providing objective baseline indicators for the pain threshold study of cervical spondylosis in the future. At the same time,to provide a reference for further quantitative evaluation, the correlation was studied between the mechanical pain threshold and the tenderness pain threshold and the personality characteristics of the acupoints of healthy subjects.MethodsA total of 170 healthy people was selected as subjects from Chengdu,Guiyang and Changsha. The Von Frey pain electronic Von Frey Anesthesiometer and Wanger instrument were used to detect the pain threshold about the mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold of the acupuncture points of the subject. At the same time, the Revised Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Short Scale for Chinese was used to assess the personality characteristics of the subjects. The basic information and test results of the subjects were entered using Excel, and the data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software.Results1.Quantitative assessment of the pain threshold of acupoints in healthy people(1)The results of mechanical pain threshold detection of 21 acupoints of cervical vertebrae in healthy subjects showed that the total mean mechanical pain threshold was(71.21±37.92)g,and the average mechanical pain threshold of acupoints was ranked from low to high:SI11<GB21<GB20<SI15<BL11<BL10<DU14<SI14<SJ15<LI16.The lowest mechanical pain threshold was the GB12;the highest mechanical pain threshold was the LI16.(2)The results of tenderness threshold detection of 21 acupoints of cervical vertebrae in healthy subjects showed:(2213.30 ± 922.38)gf,the average tenderness threshold of acupoints was ranked from low to high:GB12<GB20<BL10<GB21<SI11<SI15<LI16<SJ15<SI14<BL11<DU14.The lowest tenderness threshold was the GB12;the highest tenderness threshold was the DU14.(3)The mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold of cervical vertebrae in healthy subjects were consistently characterized. The pain threshold of cervical vertebrae in healthy subjects of different ages and genders was also consistent. The acupressure tenderness threshold with high mechanical pain threshold was higher, and the acupressure mechanical pain threshold with high tenderness threshold was also higher.GB12 were the lowest between the mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold.2.Performance characteristics of the pain threshold of acupoints in healthy people(1)The difference in age had no significant effect on the mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold at each acupoint. This study compared the results of the mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold for the age groups of 18?25 years old and 25?35 years old, respectively. There was no significant difference in the mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold between all acupoints at different ages(P>0.05).(2)There was a statistically significant difference in the mechanical pain threshold between all acupoints(P<0.01).The tenderness threshold values were statistically different(P<0.05),and the male mechanical pain threshold was higher than the female mechanical pain threshold. The mechanical pain threshold for men ranges from 80 to 90 g,and the mechanical pain threshold for women ranges from 50 to 70 g.The tenderness threshold of male bone, the GB12?GB20?BL1O ranged from 1800 to 2000 gf,and the tenderness threshold of the remaining points ranged from 2200 to 2700 gf.The tenderness threshold of female, the GB12?GB20?BL1O ranged from 1400 to 1700 gf.The tenderness threshold ranges from 1800 to 2400 gf.3.In the E-type personality, the extroversion healthy people had the highest mechanical pain threshold at each acupoint, while the introverted mechanical pain threshold was the lowest. The mechanical pain threshold of extraversion in all acupoints was higher than that of the middle healthy subjects, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).It was showed that the extraversion health was more higher mechanical pain threshold than introversion type on the of the most of acupoints. There had statistical difference(P<0.05).The total mean mechanical pain threshold of the acupoints of type 3 subjects, the total mean mechanical pain threshold of the introversion was higher than that of the middle type, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the acupressure threshold and the total mean tenderness threshold of the healthy subjects in type 3 healthy subjects.4.In the N-type personality, the mechanical pain threshold and the emotional stability value of the emotional instable healthy subjects were relatively close, and the mechanical pain thresholds of the acupoints of the healthy subjects in the two groups were lower than those of the middle type.Except the BL10,DU14,LI16 and SI11,the emotionally stable mechanical pain threshold of the other acupoints was lower than the middle mechanical pain threshold, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).The tenderness thresholds of the acupoints of each type of healthy subjects were close, and there was no significant difference in the tenderness threshold of each acupoint in each type of healthy subjects(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the mean mechanical pain threshold and total mean tenderness threshold between the three types of subjects(P>0.05).5.In the P-type personality, the mechanical pain threshold of each acupoint in the low masked healthy subjects was lower than that of the high masked type, while the middle type acupoints had the highest mechanical pain threshold. There was a statistically significant difference in the mechanical pain threshold between the two acupoints of the GB20 and the SI14(P<0.05),while the mechanical pain thresholds of the remaining points were not statistically different between the three types(P>0.05).High masked healthy subjects had the lowest tenderness threshold at each acupoint, followed by low masked type and the middle type.In the healthy and healthy subjects, the tenderness threshold of the SI15 was lower than that of the intermediate type(P<0.05).In the stubborn healthy subjects, only the GB12,GB20 and BL20.The tenderness threshold was statistically lower than the middle type(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the mean mechanical pain threshold and total mean tenderness threshold between the three types of subjects(P>0.05).Conclusions1.The total mean mechanical pain threshold value of healthy subjects in cervical spine was(71.21±37.92)g.The total mean tenderness threshold for healthy subjects in the cervical spine was(2213.30±922.38)gf.2.The lowest mechanical pain threshold for healthy subjects was the GB12;the highest mechanical pain threshold was the LI16.The lowest tenderness threshold was the GB12;the highest tenderness threshold was the DU14.3.The mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold of the acupoints of healthy subjects were mostly consistent. The lowest of mechanical pain threshold and tenderness threshold were the GB12.4.E-type personality had a certain degree of influence on the mechanical pain threshold of each acupoint. The introverted, low mechanical pain threshold; The extroverted, high mechanical pain threshold. And the E-type personality had no obvious effect on the tenderness threshold.5.N-type personality had an effect on the mechanical pain threshold. The mechanical pain threshold of some acupoints in emotionally stable people was lower than that in the middle, but had no significant effect on the tenderness threshold.6.P-type personality had an effect on the mechanical pain threshold and the acupressure threshold, but there was no certain trend and regularity.
