The Tenderness Response And Tenderness Threshold Of The Ear And The Distal Acupoints Of The Patients With Tinnitus Were Studied

1.Objective:According to the preliminary results,we select the Shaoyang Meridian Wangu(GB12),Ermen(SJ21),Tinghui(GB2),Yifeng(SJ17),Fengchi(GB20)5 points around the ear and Waiguan(SJ5),Zhongzhu(SJ3),Yanglingquan(GB3 4),Qiuxu(GB40),Zulinqi(GB41)5 points below the elbow and knee joint,then the tenderness reaction and threshold of tenderness between tinnitus group and non tinnitus control group were compared to obtain tinnitus related tenderness sensitive points,so that we can provide the clinical basis for tinnitus treatament.2.Methods:Selecting the tinnitus group 90 cases,30 cases in the non tinnitus control group,we pressd on the Shaoyang Meridian Wangu(GB12),Ermen(SJ21),Tinghui(GB2),Yifeng(SJ17),Fengchi(GB20)5 points around the ear and Waiguan(SJ5),Zhongzhu(SJ3),Yanglingquan(GB34),Qiuxu(GB40),Zulinqi(GB41)5 points below the elbow and knee joint respectively,then recorded positive tenderness point,at the same time we used the tenderness tester test threshold of tenderness of the 10 points.3.Results3.1 Tinnitus group and non tinnitus control group general situation(1)Gender:Tinnitus group 90 cases,30 cases were male(33.33%),60 cases were female(66.67%),the female incidence of tinnitus was higher than men,there was a extremely significant difference(p<0.01);30 cases in the non tinnitus control group,16 cases were male(53.33%),14 cases were female(46.67%);tinnitus group and non tinnitus control group of gender comparison,there was no significant difference(p>0.05).(2)Age:Tinnitus group:minimum age 19 years old,maximum 70 years old,average age 48.5 years old.The 50-60 age group had the highest incidence of tinnitus(33.33%),followed by the 41-50 age,the incidence rate was 21.11%;non tinnitus control group:the youngest 19 years old,the oldest 61 years old,the average age of 43.7 years old;different age groups were compared between the two group,p>0.05,there was no significant difference.(3)The duration of tinnitus patients:29 cases of 0~3 months(acute tinnitus),16 cases of 3?12 months(sub acute tinnitus),45 cases of more than 12 months(chronic tinnitus),of which more than 12 months in patients with chronic tinnitus is most common,the incidence rate of 50%.(4)Tinnitus side:In 90 cases of patients with tinnitus 30 cases of left tinnitus,19 cases of right tinnitus,bilateral tinnitus in 39 cases,2 cases of brain tinnitus,bilateral tinnitus incidence rate is the highest,accounting for 43.3%.(5)Tinnitus severity rating:Grade ? 41 cases(45.6%),grade ? 35(38.9%),grade ? 9(10%),grade IV 5(5.6%),of whom grade I cases were the largest,accounting for 45.6%.3.2 Shaoyang Meridian 10 points tenderness reaction and threshold of tenderness comparison of tinnitus group and nontinnitus control group(1)Comparison of 10 points tenderness reaction frequency:90 cases of patients with tinnitus,Wangu(GB12)tenderness reaction frequency was 76 times(84.4%),the control group of non tinnitus Wangu(GB12)tenderness reaction frequency was 20 times(66.7%),tinnitus tinnitus group were significantly higher than the non control group(p<0.05);There was no significant difference in the remaining nine points(Ermen(SJ21),Tinghui(GB2),Yifeng(SJ17),Fengchi(GB20)Waiguan(SJ5),Zhongzhu(SJ3),YangLingquan(GB34),Qiuxu(GB40),Zulinqi(GB41))between two groups(p>0.05).(2)Comparison of 10 points mean threshold of tenderness:tinnitus group Wangu(GB12),Yifeng(SJ17),Fengchi(GB20),Waiguan(SJ5)points threshold of tenderness was less than the non tinnitus control group,there was significant difference(p<0.05);Zhongzhu(SJ3),Yanglingquan(GB34),Zulinqi(GB41)3 points mean threshold of tenderness is less than the non control group tinnitus and there was a extremely significant difference(p<0.01);the remaining 3 points(Ermen(SJ21),Tinghui(GB2),Qiuxu(GB40))between the two groups showed no significant difference(p>0.05).3.3 Tinnitus patients with Shaoyang Meridian 10 points tenderness side distribution(1)30 cases of left tinnitus patients,Wangu(GB12),Ermen(SJ21),Tinghui(GB2),Yifeng(SJ17),Fengchi(GB20),Waiguan(SJ5),Zhongzhu(SJ3),Qiuxu(GB40),Zulinqi(GB41)9 points tenderness reaction in bilateral was higher than that of the single reaction on the left and right,there was a extremely significant difference(p<0.01);Yanglingquan(GB34)tenderness reaction in the bilateral was also higher than that of single reaction on the left and right,respectively.,there was significant difference(p<0.05)and extremely significant difference(p<0.01);10 points single tenderness reaction on the left and right side were compared,there was no significant difference(p>0.05).(2)19 cases of right tinnitus patients,Tinghui(GB2),Yifeng(SJ17),Wangu(GB12),Fengchi(GB20),Zhongzhu(SJ3),Yanglingquan(GB34),Qiuxu(GB40),Zulinqi(GB41)8 points tenderness reaction in bilateral was higher than that of the single reaction on the left and right,there was a extremely significant difference(p<0.01);Ermen(SJ21)point tenderness reaction in the bilateral was also higher than that of single reaction on the left and right,respectively.There was significant difference(p<0.05)and extremely significant difference(p<0.01);Waiguan(SJ5)single tenderness reaction on the left and right,bilateral mutual comparison,there was no significant difference(p>0.05);10 points single tenderness reaction in the left and right side were compared,there was no significant difference(p>0.05).(3)39 cases of bilateral tinnitus patients,Ermen(SJ21),Tinghui(GB2),Yifeng(SJ17),Wangu(GB12),Fengchi(GB20),Waiguan(SJ5),Zhongzhu(SJ3),Qiuxu(GB40),Zulinqi(GB41)9 points tenderness reaction in bilateral was higher than that of the single reaction on the left and right,there was a extremely significant difference(p<0.01);Yanglingquan(GB34)single tenderness in the left and bilateral reaction was higher than that of the single reaction on the right side,there was a extremely significant difference(p<0.01),and in the bilateral and single left tenderness reaction was compared,there was no significant difference(p>0.05);in addition to Yanglingquan(GB34),compared to the remaining 9 point single tenderness reaction on the left and right side showed no significant difference(p>0.05).4 Conclusion4.1 The tinnitus group and the non tinnitus control group were compared,the most sensitive points is Wangu(GB12)behind the ear,followed by Yifeng(SJ17)and Fengchi(GB20)behind the ear,and Waiguan(SJ5),Zhongzhu(SJ3),Yanglingquan(GB34),Zulinqi(GB41)that were below the elbow and knee joint,suggesting that these sensitive points can be used as preferred acupoints for tinnitus treating.4.2 Whether unilateral tinnitus or bilateral tinnitus,the frequency of tenderness is mostly in the bilateral than unilateral.It is suggested that bilateral acupoints can be selected for the treatment of tinnitus.
