| Objective:A randomized controlled trials clinical methods was used to observe symptoms and improvement of glycemic control of diabetic gastroparesis patients,in the use of two methods:method of chiropractic manipulation combined with auricular acupoint pressing and pharmacotherapy with medicine Mosapride Tablets.Comparison of differences in the the effectiveness and safety of the two treatments were performed to provide optimization of treatment for the disease,contributing more scientific data and valuable references for clinical work.Methods:We included 60 patients with diabetic gastroparesis,randomly assigned them to a treatment group that treated by chiropractic care combined with auricular acupoint pressing therapy and a control group that underwent pharmacotherapy with medicine Mosapride Tablets,with 30 cases in each group.Patients were treated for 2 weeks as a course and the course of treatment was repeated a total of two times.Evaluation of patients were taken preintervention and postintervention and evaluation involved GCSI scales,fasting glucose and 2 h glucose.We recorded all datas throughout the whole study and performed statistical analysis to compare the clinical effectiveness of the two groups.Results:1.The characteristics of diabetic gastroparesis patients at baseline like gender,age and course of disease,were well balanced between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Treatment results:Reductions in symptom scores and total scores of both groups after treatment were observed,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Scores of regurgitation,feeling of having a full stomach,easy to feel stomach full,meteorism and anorexia in treatment group were better than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),showing that method of chiropractic manipulation combined with auricular acupoint pressing did have improvement of symptoms in diabetic gastroparesis patients.3.Comparison results of blood glucose:fasting glucose and 2h glucose of both group significantly improved postintervention(P<0.05)and difference between the two group did not reach statistical significance(P>0.05),showing that neither methods mentioned above could improve blood glucose of patients.Conclusions:1.Both method of chiropractic manipulation combined with auricular acupoint pressing and pharmacotherapy with medicine Mosapride Tablets could relieve symptoms of diabetic gastroparesis.The effect of method of chiropractic manipulation combined with auricular acupoint pressing is superior to pharmacotherapy with medicine Mosapride Tablets.2.The study of this subject confirms that method of chiropractic manipulation combined with auricular acupoint pressing is much more safety than Mosapride. |
