The Study On The Correlation Between Moxibustion Sensation And Curative Effect In Treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome By Needling LU7,KI6 Combined With Modified Long Snake Moxibustion

Objective:To observe the moxibustion sensation and curative effect of treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome of spleen and kidney yang deficiency by needling LU7 and KI6 combined with Modified Long Snake Moxibustion,and to explore the correlation between moxibustion sensation and fatigue improvement,so as to provide new ideas and new methods for improving moxibustion sensation to enhance clinical efficacy.Methods:Sixty-four subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(needling LU7,KI6 combined with Modified Long Snake Moxibustion)and control group(Modified Long Snake Moxibustion)with 32 cases in each group.Both groups received three times a week,60 minutes a time,a total of 12 times for 4 weeks.Moxibustion sensation was assessed by Moxibustion Sense Scale of Modified Long Snake Moxibustion.Fatigue Scale-14(FS-14)and the TCM Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome Score Scale were used as therapeutic indexes.The Moxibustion Sensation Scale was evaluated once after the first,sixth and twelfth treatments,and the remainder scales were evaluated before treatment,at the end of treatment and at the end of one month follow-up.Results:1.Baseline comparison: There was no significant difference in sex,age,course of disease,FS-14 and TCM Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome Score Scale between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.Therapeutic indicators:FS-14: There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).TCM Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome Score Scale: There wassignificant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).After the last treatment,there was a significant difference in the scores between the groups(P<0.05).3.Moxibustion sensation evaluation: Compared with the Modified Long Snake Moxibustion Sensation Scale before and after treatment,there were significant differences in heat sensation,neck,back,waist and buttock moxibustion sensation,heat wave sensation,emotional changes and total scores after moxibustion between the two groups(P<0.05),while there were significant differences in chest and abdomen moxibustion sensation in the treatment group(P<0.05).There were significant differences in sensation of heat,sensation of moxibustion on neck,back,waist,hip and chest and abdomen,sensation of heat wave after moxibustion,change of sensation and total score after moxibustion between the first and last treatment groups(P<0.05).Relevance analysis: The average of moxibustion sensation at neck,back,waist and buttock,heat wave sensation after moxibustion and total score after moxibustion were positively correlated with the fatigue improvement value,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After moxibustion,the average of emotional changes and the average of moxibustion sensation in chest and abdomen were highly positively correlated with the improvement of fatigue,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a moderate positive correlation between the improvement value of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome and the improvement value of fatigue(P<0.05).There was a moderate positive correlation between the average score of moxibustion and the improvement of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome(P<0.05).There was a low positive correlation between the average sensation of moxibustion in extremities and the improvement of fatigue(P<0.05).There was a very low positive correlation between the average acid swelling sensation and fatigue improvement after moxibustion,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).There was a very low negative correlation between the average itching sensation andburning sensation after moxibustion and the improvement of fatigue(P>0.05).4.Follow-up: Compared with before treatment,there was significant difference in FS-14 score between the two groups(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the scores of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).There were significant differences in FS-14 and spleen-kidney yang deficiency syndrome scores between the two groups(P<0.05).5.Safety analysis: There was 1 case of hematoma in the treatment group.However,there was no significant difference between the number of cases and the level of safety after symptomatic treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.LU7 and KI6 combined with Modified Long Snake Moxibustion strengthened the transmission of moxibustion sensation in neck,back,waist,hip and chest and abdomen,increased the sensation of heat wave during moxibustion,improved the spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome and fatigue symptoms of CFS,and enhanced the clinical efficacy.2.LU7 and KI6 combined with Modified Long Snake Moxibustion can regulate Ren,Du Meridians and Yin-Yang,promoted the transmission of moxibustion sensation and improved the curative effect,which provides a certain reference for the clinical treatment of diseases by acupuncture and moxibustion,and is suitable for popularization and application.
