| In recent years, the material living standard of our society has been continuously improved, our living conditions have been improved, and the development of medical technology has been risen people’s life expectancy.According to the report of the Statistical Bulletin on the Development of China’s Health Careers in 2017 issued by the State Health Commission, the average life expectancy in Chinese Mainland is 76.7 years, which is 0.2 years higher than that in 2016.The extension of life expectancy and the change of family structure have brought about new social problems, that is the aging of population. In view of the aging problem, the state began to try to implement the model of combining medical care with old-age care.According to the characteristics of the elderly needs, the government tried to integrate medical care and old-age care resources to provide comprehensive and high-quality maintenance services to enable the elderly to enjoy their old life. However, there are still some problems in the model of combining medical and nursing care.Especially, the shortage of medical resources greatly limits the integration of resources. As the unique health resource in China, traditional Chinese medicine has comparative advantages in the prevention and health care of the elderly, disease treatment and so on.As the supplement of medical resources,TCM also can improve the fitness of the elderly and play the role of prevention mechanism to reduce the occurrence of senile diseases and chronic diseases from the root. Therefore,TCM supply the elderly care service in medical and nursing care model is an inevitable trend.Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, health service equity theory and active aging theory, this paper expounds the necessity of the combination of health and nursing care for old people, studies the opportunities and threats existing in external environment, and the combination of advantages and disadvantages of traditional Chinese medicine resources to analyses the feasibility of the integration of traditional Chinese medicine resources and pension services. In order to understand the current situation of the development of integrated traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)care for the aged,we designed a questionnaire to study the cognition and demand of the elderly in Shandong Province. The factors influencing the support degree of the elderly in TCM care for the aged were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance and logistic regression analysis. The results showed that: region, income, living style and the elder group’s choice of TCM treatment, therapeutic effect, price of TCM,and the way of knowledge and recognition of TCM-nutrition combination all affect the attitude of the elderly group to TCM-nutrition combination in varying degrees. We collected relevant information for understanding the supply situation of medical resources and endowment resources of traditional Chinese medicine in Shandong Province.Synthesizing the overall situation of demand and supply of TCM medical and nursing care in Shandong Province. From the perspective of stakeholders, this paper analyses the roles and problems of various participants in the integration of medical and nursing care: government agencies should give full play to the leading role, because of imperfect top-level design, various departments working hard, medical insurance, human resources security and other issues restrict the participation of traditional Chinese medicine in pension services;as the main body of service supply, medical institutions need to overcome the difficult problem of integration of "medicine" and "pension".The standardized establishment of TCM resource and market is also an important and difficult problem to solve. As a powerful supplement to medical resources, social forces should focus on developing their strength. As the beneficiaries of TCM health care services, families need to get rid of the shackles of traditional old-age concepts and wrong perceptions of TCM,to support the traditional medical resources to benefit the elderly. From the above aspects, the participants in the integration of health care and medical care can effectively alleviate the imbalance between supply and demand in the development process of the elderly care service of the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and nursing care. |
