Research On Mental Health Education Thought Of Gao Juefu

Rapid economic growth will also bring many problems,mental health as a vital part of health,is an important issue affecting social development.This requires all levels of society to enhance the importance of mental health,promote the level of social mental health services,especially the development and improvement of mental health education should be drew more attention.Taking Gao Juefu's thought of mental health education as an entry point to investigate the attention paid to mental health in China during the republic of China period,it can have a more specific understanding of the psychological problems and treatment theories and methods at that time,and also provide an important reference value for the establishment of mental health education with Chinese characteristics.At present,there is no special research on mental health education in the academic circle during the republic of China.The previous discussion of Gao Juefu also focuses on his contribution to the history of psychology.This paper mainly USES the method of literature research and historical analysis,based on Gao Juefu's articles and works as well as the evaluation of others,starting from Gao Juefu's life,analyzes the background of his mental health education thoughts.Based on the historical background and the rise and development of the mental health movement,this paper analyzes the social background of Gao Juefu's exploration of mental health education.Then,the academic background of Gao's mental health education thoughts is summarized from Gao's study experience in the university of Hong Kong and his work experience in various universities in China.This paper summarizes the basic structure and specific content of Gao's mental health education thought from the two aspects of theoretical exploration and application exploration:(1)emphasis on theoretical research and theoretical guidance;(2)distinguish mental health education and moral education;(3)advocate the desire into motivation.Combined with the exploration of Gao Juefu in mental health education,it can be found that:Gao Juefu(1)was not only a translator of psychoanalysis theory,but also an explorer of the application of psychoanalysis theory;(2)not only paid attention to psychological theoretical research,but also to practical problems;(3)put forward the thought of therapeutic education,advocated the establishment of guidance hospitals for specialized therapeutic education;(4)not only did he propose to inspect the source of behavior,but also advocate turning the desire into motivation,which can explain individual behavior.
