Clinical Efficacy Of Acupoint Injection In Fengshi (GB31) Combined With Acupuncture For Treatment Of Idiopathic Tinnitus

ObjectiveIdiopathic tinnitus is a subjective tinnitus caused by unexplained,non-organic diseases,the pathogenesis is not clear,there are many academic disputes,and there is no uniform and ef'fective treatment plan.With the gradual increase of the incidence rate,tinnitus has become a kind of physical and mental disease that seriously affects the quality of people' s lives.The treatment of tinnitus has become one of the urgent problems that need to be solved in clinical practice.In this study,we used a randomized controlled method to study the clinical efficacy of acupuncture point injection combined with acupuncture in the treatment of idiopathic tinnitus,and provide a clinical basis for the treatment of idiopathic tinnitus by acupoint injection in Fengshi(GB 31).MethodsFrom June 2018 to February 2019,in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,acupuncture and otolaryngology clinics,according to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,60 patients who met the criteria were selected.They were randomly assigned to 30 patients in each of the treatment group(Acupoint injection combined with acupuncture group)and the control group(single acupuncture group).Treatment group:choose the Er men(TE 21),Ting gong(SI 19),Ting hui(GB 2),Yifeng(TE 17),fengchi(GB 20),Zhongzhu(TE 3),Jia xi(GB 43),Tai chong(LR 3),Hegu(LI 4)and Sishenzhen.After the acupuncture,acupoint injection was performed on the bilateral Fengshi(GB 31)points withvitamin B12 injection,and 1 ml was injected on each side.The control group:acupuncture treatment with acupoints alone,treatment and acupoint selection with the treatment group,no acupoint injection.The two groups were treated once every other day,three times a week,one week for a course of treatment,a total of four courses of treatment.The tinnitus evaluation questionnaire(TEQ)and other related scales were evaluated before treatment and after four weeks of treatment.The evaluation data of the two groups were collected before and after treatment,and the database was established.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 statistical software.ResultsThe total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 66.7%.Both groups had curative effect.After non-parametric rank sum test,P=0.008<0.05,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The efficacy of the group was significantly better than the control group.The tinnitus severity scores were compared.Before and after treatment,the t test was used to obtain P=0.000<0.05.After treatment,the two groups were compared.After t test,P-0.002<0.05,indicating that the tinnitus was severe after treatment.The degree of decline was lower,and the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing the severity score of patients with idiopathic tinnitus.In terms of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)scores,t test was performed before and after treatment in both groups,and P=0.000<0.05.After treatment,the two groups were compared,and t test,P=0.003<0.05,indicating that both groups of treatments can improve patients' anxiety.Treatment group therapy is more effective than control group in improving anxiety in patients with idiopathic tinnitus.In terms of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)score,P=O.000<0.05 was obtained by t test before and after treatment.The contrast between the two groups after treatment was compared with t test,P=0.036<0.05,indicating that both groups of treatment can improve the patient's depression.Treatment group therapy is more effective than control group in improving depression in patients with idiopathic tinnitus.In terms of the efficacy of different syndrome types,the treatment group and the control group had certain curative effects on each type of tinnitus,and the treatment group was generally better than the control group.Among them,the treatment group had better curative effect on all kinds of empirical tinnitus,while the control group had better curative effect on hepatic fire inflammatory type and phlegm stagnation type.ConclusionIn this study,acupoint injection combined with acupuncture group and simple acupuncture group have certain curative effect on patients with idiopathic tinnitus,while Fengshi(GB 31)acupoint injection combined with acupuncture group reduces the severity of tinnitus and improves tinnitus.The emotions such as anxiety and depression have a better effect.The therapy has the effect of acupuncture and drug treatment,and the operation is simple and the curative effect is remarkable,and it is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.
