ObjectiveThe aim of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of treating the Spleen deficiency in accumulates dampness type nummular eczema by compound comfrey oil,and make an evaluation of its safety and relapse,so as to come to a dicision about clinical practical value.Methods1.Grouping:We selected 60 patients which were met the nummular criteria, and divide them into therapy group, control group 1 and control group 2 randomly,so that each group was 30 patients.2.Treatment program:Therapy group was given compound comfrey oil to external use and made an alliance with oral modification of Chushi Weiling Decoction.Control group was given 0.03%tacrolimus ointment to external use and made an alliance with oral modification of Chushi Weiling Decoction. Two weeks is a course of treatment and evaluate efficacy after treatment in week 1 and week 4.3.Observation method:Recording two groups patients' EASI,pruritus degree and adverse reactions in detail in the first visit and the end of treatment. The recurrence was observed at 1 month after withdrawal.Results1.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients, such as gender, age and course of disease.Their EASI and pruritus degree also had no statistically significant difference in the first visit and both groups were comparable.2.The treatment group cured 2 cases, markedly effective in 6 cases, effective in 12,ineffective in 7 cases, and the total effective rate was 74.07%.In the control group, there were 2 cases of recovery,1 had significant curative effect,16 cases had effect,6 had no effect, and the total effective rate was 76.0%.The efficacy of the treatment group was comparable to that of the control group.3.After statistical analysis, there were significant difference about EASI among 2 groups before treatment and 1 week of treatment,4 weeks of treatment, which explain EASI scores was decreased after treatment in both groups; After statistical analysis, there were significant difference about pruritus degree among 2 groups before treatment and 1 week of treatment,4 weeks of treatment, which explain the both groups had less pruritus degree after treatment.4.After 2 courses of treatment, following up of patients cured in two groups 1 month about relapse rate. The results showed that the treatment group had 5 cases of recurrence, the relapse rate was 25.0%.In the control group, there were 11 cases of recurrence and the relapse rate was 57.8goh.The recurrence rate was significantly reduced in the treatment group compared with the control group.ConclusionUnder the condition of combining with the treatment of oral Chinese medicine,The clinical efficacy of the compound cormfrey oil was comparable to the 0.03%tacrolimus ointment, but after treatment,0.03%tacrolimus ointment is easier to relapse than comfrey oil.
