| Object iveTo observe the clinical curative effect of nourishing liver and kidney decoction to treat Glucocorticoid-induced Osteoporosis.MethodsUsing a simple random sampling method,66 patients with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis(liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome)that meet the standard were randomly selected from the patients who received glucocorticoid therapy for a long time in the department of rheumatism of Foshan traditional Chinese medicine hospital,and were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group with 33 patients in each group.The control group was only taking the Alfacalcidol Soft Capsules and Calcium Supplement with Vitamin D Chewable Tablets as routine basic treatment.On the basis of routine treatment,the experimental group was treated with nourishing liver and kidney decoction once a day.The period of treatment of both groups was six months.The changes of serum calcium ion,serum phosphorus ion,serum alkaline phosphatase,bone mineral density,VAS pain score,osteoporosis symptom grading quantitative score and other indexes were observed before and after treatment.Using statistical software to make statistical analysis on the data,and comprehensively evaluating the efficacy and safety of nourishing liver and kidney decoction to treat glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.Resulis1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in baseline values such as average age,course of disease,sex ratio and disease composition ratio(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in serum calcium ions,serum phosphorus ions,serum alkaline phosphatase,bone mineral density,VAS pain score and osteoporosis symptom grading quantitative score(P>0.05),which was comparable.Compared before and after treatment,the serum calcium ion,serum phosphorus ion,serum alkaline phosphatase,bone mineral density of the two groups all increased,and the differences were significant(P<0.05).The VAS pain score and osteoporosis symptom grading quantitative score were significantly decreased(P<0.01).Comparison between the two groups after treatment,serum calcium,serum alkaline phosphatase and bone mineral density in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were significant between the two groups(P<0.01).There were no significant differences in serum phosphorus ion between the two groups(P>0.05).The scores of VAS pain and osteoporosis symptom classification and quantification in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).3.Compared with the clinical curative effect,the experimental group showed marked effect in 12 cases(40.00%),effective in 17 cases(56.67%),ineffective in 1 case(3.33%),with a total effective rate of 96.67%.In the control group,4 cases were markedly effective(12.90%),23 cases were effective(74.19%),and 4 cases were ineffective(12.90%),with a total effective rate of 87.10%.The clinical efficacy of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.ALT,AST and Cr values of the two groups were within the normal range before and after treatment.The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was low,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The nourishing decoction for the liver and the kidney has good safety.ConclusionNourishing liver and kidney decoction to treat glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis is effective,which can effectively relieve lumbar pain,improve bone metabolism index,increase bone density,and reduce osteoporosis symptom grading quantitative score.The mechanism may be related to promoting intestinal reabsorption of calcium,raising serum ALP,and promoting bone formation.Nourishing liver and kidney decoction have no obvious adverse reactions,and the safety is good,which provides a reference for the prevention and treatment of glucocorticoid osteoporosis by Chinese medicine. |
