Clincal Research Of Nourishing Liver And Kidney Decoction In Postmenopausal Osteoporosis

Objective:To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of nourishing liver and kidney decoction in postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMO), and to find out a traditional Chinese medicine therapy law of the effective and side effects guidancing clinical;And on this basis, to observe the clinical therapeutic effect of nourishing liver and kidney decoction on our own in postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMO) of Liver-kidney Yin deficiency. Methods:60 cases of PMO patients in our hospital from February 2009 to 2011 February (including outpatients and inpatients), randomly were divided into treatment group and control group, the selected patients in the first half year before the treatment were not used in drugs about the osteoporosis and the influence of the bone metabolism. The control group(30cases)was given Alendronate Sodium, Alfacalcidol and Caltrate; the treatment group (30 cases)was treated by chinese herbs of" nourishing liver and kidney decoction " on our own in base of western medicine, at last, to inspect the changes of two groups of before and after the treatment about the overall clinical curative effect of calcium, phosphate in blood and bone mineral density. Results:The total efficive rate was 90%, and pain relief rate was 96.7%;the total efficive rate in control group was 73.3%, and pain relief rate was83.3%, so, the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in general clinical curative effect. Two groups of overall differences have statistically significances (P = 0.003), the treatment group's curative effect was better than the control group (P< 0.05). Both groups could inprove the bone mineral content, but not statistically significant, while the difference of two groups of before and after the treatment of blood calcium, phosphate had no significance. Analysing the side effects from drugs, two groups of all did not appear obvious side effects. Before and after treatment, three conventions about blood,urine and shit, and liver,kidney function, and electrocardiogram had not the obvious changes.this clinical study shows that filling Nourishing Liver and Kidney Decoction with oral western medicine can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs, and proves that treatment effect is better than oral western medicine therapy alone. Before and after treatment, the total effect in the treatment group have obvious difference, the treatment group and the control group after treatment, the total scores have obvious difference, and curative effect is stable, no side effect, and it can effectily prevents postmenopausal osteoporosis. Conclusion:The clinical curative effect treating with Nourishing Liver and Kidney Decoction in postmenopausal osteoporosis is exact, and it is worthy to be popularized.
