ObjectiveTo observe the short-term intervention of Chinese herbal compound colon hydrotherapy for patients with non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis(NASH),liver biochemical indicators, inflammatory factors, intestinal flora,Fibroscan liver controlled attenuation parameters(CAP)and the impact of changes in TCM symptom scores.MethodsA prospective, randomized controlled clinical study was performed in 80 patients with NASH who were hospitalized in the Department of Hepatology,Foshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and met the inclusion criteria. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Both groups were treated with oral diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsules and silybin. The treatment group was treated with Chinese herbal compound colon hydrotherapy once daily/day,and the control group was given basic saline colon hydrotherapy once per day.On the day,the observation course was 7 days. The changes of liver function, inflammatory factors,Fibroscan CAP,body weight and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were observed in the two groups.Statistical analysis of the data to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of Chinese herbal compound colon hydrotherapy.Results1.There were no significant differences in gender, age, severity, and BMI between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.There were no significant differences in liver function index, triglyceride, cholesterol, uric acid and TNF-? between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, liver biochemical parameters, uric acid and cholesterol were improved in both groups(P<0.05 or 0.01),and triglyceride and TNF-? in the control group could not be improved(P>0.05).After treatment, the treatment group was more advantageous in reducing uric acid and TNF-? content(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. Before and after treatment, the body weight, weight loss, and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups decreased, and there were significant differences(P<.05 or 0.01).Compared with the two groups after treatment, the treatment group was more advantageous in reducing the weight loss and TCM symptom score(P<0.05 or 0.01).4.The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients after treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,the total effective rate of the control group was 50%,showing that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group, there was a significant difference(P<0.01).At the same time, the incidence of adverse reactions was low in the two groups, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionChinese herbal compound colon hydrotherapy for short-term intervention of spleen deficiency and dampness nonal coholic fatty hepatitis has good curative effect, can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms such as abdominal distension, fatigue, fatigue and body weight, reduce liver function and TNF-?content to reduce liver inflammation, and at the same time Accelerate the excretion of uric acid, and there is no obvious adverse reaction during the test, indicating that the Chinese herbal compound colon has good safety and is worthy of clinical use.
