The Relationship Between Serum Vitamin D Level,Blood Eosinophils And Allergic Rhinitis In Adults

Objective To observe the correlation between serum vitamin D level,blood eosinophils and allergic rhinitis in adults,and to explore its significance.Method According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of the study,52 patients with allergic rhinitis were randomly selected from the First People's Hospital of Huainan City affiliated to Bengbu Medical College from December 2017 to July 2018.The patients were divided into mild allergic rhinitis group and moderate-severe allergic rhinitis group according to the severity of the disease.23 healthy persons were selected as control group.Result(1)There was a significant difference in serum vitamin D content between control group and allergic rhinitis experimental group(P=0.003;P<0.05).There was significant difference in serum vitamin D content between control group and mild allergic rhinitis group(P=0.020;P<0.05);and there was significant difference in serum vitamin D content between control group and moderate-severe allergic rhinitis group(P=0.006;P<0.05).There was no significant difference in serum vitamin D content between mild allergic rhinitis group and moderate-severe allergic rhinitis rhinitigroup(P=0.964;P>0.05).(2)There were significant differences in blood eosinophil count and percentage between control group and allergic rhinitis experimental group.But there was no significant difference in blood eosinophil count and percentage between mild allergic rhinitis group and moderate-severe allergic rhinitis group(P > 0.05);there were significant differences in blood eosinophil count and percentage between control group and mild allergic rhinitis group(P < 0.001);and in blood eosinophil count and percentage between control group and moderate-severe allergic rhinitis group.(P<0.001).(3)There was a negative correlation between blood eosinophil count and serum vitamin D content(rs=-0.303),and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.008;P<0.05).(4)Blood eosinophil count and vitamin D level have certain accuracy in the diagnosis of allergic rhinitis;the percentage of blood eosinophils has higher accuracy in the diagnosis of allergic rhinitis.Conclusion(1)Serum vitamin D level in adult patients with allergic rhinitis was lower than that in normal subjects,but its content was not related to the severity of the disease.(2)The count and percentage of eosinophils in adult patients with allergic rhinitis were significantly higher than those in normal subjects,but were not related to the severity of the disease.(3)Serum vitamin D levels were inversely correlated with blood eosinophil counts.(4)Serum vitamin D content,blood eosinophil count and its percentage have certain reference value for the diagnosis of allergic rhinitis.
