Objective This Observation is to compare the clinical efficacy of acupuncture Combined with Periodic Method and traditional acupuncture treatment for primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type, and to explore the effectiveness and superiority of acupuncture Combined with Periodic therapy for primary dysmenorrhea. Methods 66 female patients who met the clinical diagnostic criteria of primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type were randomly divided into two groups. In the control group(traditional acupuncture group),33 cases were taken.Acupoints: Zhongji,Sanyinjiao,Diji,Shiqizhui Ciliao,Guanyuan, and Guilai(except Zhongji,Guanyuan and Shiqizhui, take both sides). In the treatment group(acupuncture Combined with Periodic Method),33 cases were taken on the basic priscription and menstruation phases.the basic priscription was the same with control group. The menstruation phases acupoints were as follows: menstrual period(from the tide to the clean): Xuehai;late stage(from the clean to inter-menstrual period): Taixi,Xuehai;inter-menstrual period(median of menstrual cycle and 1 day before and after): Yinlingquan,Yanglingquan;premenstrual period(from the end of the inter period to the next come): Yanglingquan,Shenshu.Treatment time: once every other day,30 minutes each time, and 3 menstrual cycles.Observation time: before treatment, treatment after 1 menstrual cycle, treatment after 3 menstrual cycles,follow-up period(after 3rd menstrual cycles of treatment stop).Observation indicators: VAS score,TCM syndrome score,CMSS score(the total frequency of dysmenorrhea symptoms and severity score)and clinical efficacy evaluation(recent efficacy and long-term efficacy). Results The study actually completed 61 cases, including 31 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group: 1.Comparing the VAS score,TCM syndrome score,CMSS score(the frequency of total attack and severity score of dysmenorrhea symptoms)between the two groups before and after treatment,we found that there was an interaction effect between time factor and grouping factor(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),that is,there was a grouping effect;the difference between the two groups was statistically significant at different time points before and after treatment(P<0.05),that is,there is a time effect. The observed values of the two groups showed a downward trend with time, but the decline trend of the two groups was not completely consistent. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Compared with the treatment of 3 menstrual cycle,follow-up period, the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients can be found: in the short-term efficacy comparison, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.55%,the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);In the long-term efficacy comparison, the total effective rate was 87.10% in the treatment group and 63.33% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The two treatments have a good therapeutic effect in relieving pain severity, reducing the frequency and improving symptoms on primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type.In the early stage of treatment, the therapeutic effects of the two therapies are equivalent, but in recent efficacy and long-term efficacy, acupuncture combined with periodic therapy group is better than that of the traditional acupuncture group.
