Objective: By comparing the dragon-tiger contending needling and even manipulations,we observed the immediate analgesic effect of the dragon-tiger contending needling acupuncture manipulation on the pain before operation and the level of plasma hs-CRP in patients with Acute appendicitis, and then comparing the effectiveness, advantages of the two. Methods: Randomized controlled clinical research methods was used in this study. From February 2017 to December 2018,60 cases of acute appendicitis admitted to the emergency department of the first affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of traditional Chinese Medicine and the second affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of traditional Chinese Medicine were diagnosed as admitting acute appendicitis and preparing for surgery.According to the criteria of diagnosis, inclusion, exclusion, etc, they were randomly divided into two groups, each group of 30.The patients in both groups were selected as Shangjuxu(on the right)and Lanwei point(on the right). The two points were injected into proper depth in turn until “Deqi”.Dragon-tiger Contending needling was used in the former group, each hole about 1min;in the latter group, the method of even manipulations was taken as the degree of gain of “Deqi”.All the patients in the two groups were kept needle for 20 minutes, once every 5min was treated with dragon-tiger Contending needling, and the control group was treated with even manipulations methods for one time. The scores of pain degree before and after treatment were recorded, and the pain relief index was used as the evaluation standard of curative effect. The data analyzed by statistical software SPSS22.0 were compared in group and group respectively. Results: In the course of the study, one case was lost and 59 cases were completed.Among them,30 cases were in the group of dragon-tiger Contending needling and 29 cases were in the group of even manipulations. There was no significant difference in age,sex and course of disease before treatment(P > 0.05),and it can be compared between groups. The VAS,PPI scores before and after treatment were recorded and the total scores were calculated for each patient. And then calculating the pain relief value,?VAS,?PPI,?TP.Record the level of hs-CRP before and after treatment, then calculated the decline of hs-CRP level. Before treatment, the baseline of VAS,PPI,TP and hs-CRP were the same and there was no difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).Intra-group comparison,VAS,PPI,TP and hs-CRP levels in the two groups after treatment showed a decrease in the follow-up treatment, statistical tests showed thatthe treatment of two kinds of acupuncture manipulation did produce the analgesic effect and lowering the level of plasma hs-CRP(P < 0.01)or(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in hs-CRP between groups(P> 0.05),which indicated that the effect of acupuncture on lowering plasma hs-CRP level was similar to that of even manipulations acupuncture in fighting with dragon-tiger Contending needling. There was significant difference in VAS,PPI,TP,?VAS,?TP between groups(P< 0.01 or P< 0.05),?PPI had no statistical significance(P> 0.05).Therefore,through comprehensive analysis, the analgesic effect of dragon-tiger Contending needling is better than even manipulations. Conclusions: Both groups have analgesic effect and reduce plasma hs-CRP level in patients with acute preoperative appendiceal pain. The effect of decreasing plasma hs-CRP level in both groups is indistinguishable, and the analgesic effect of dragon-tiger Contending needling is better than even manipulations obviously.
