Effect Of TCM Chronic Disease Management On Quality Of Life In Patients With Ischemic Stroke Recovery

Objective: With the prevalence rate of chronic diseases rising in China year by year,it has caused heavy pressure and economic burden on society and families.Controlling the development of chronic diseases has become an important issue for us nowadays.How to help chronic patients improve their quality of life is a topic of common concern.This study aims to study the effect of TCM chronic disease management on the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke recovery,and provide evidence for chronic disease management in patients with ischemic stroke recovery and provide reference for improving the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke recovery.Methods: This study selected 160 patients with ischemic stroke recovery who were included in the enrollment and chronic disease clinics of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Jilin Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine)and met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.According to the random grouping method,they were divided into 80 groups of management group and control group.The control group was treated with basic Chinese and Western medicine.The management group used basic Chinese and Western medicine treatment and TCM chronic disease management for a three-month management of chronic Chinese medicine.And systematically observe the improvement of the quality of life of patients with this disease by TCM chronic disease management.Results: The results of the study showed that the SS-QOL score: two groups before and after management,there were significant differences in overall health,energy,mood,personality,family role,self-care ability,and upper limb ability(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the TCM chronic disease management group had significant differences in energy,mood,self-care ability and upper limb ability(P<0.05).BI index scores were significantly different between the two groups before and after management(P<0.05).There was a significant difference between the TCM chronic disease management group and the control group(P<0.05).NIHSS scores: There were differences between the two groupsbefore and after management(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in NIHSS score between the TCM chronic disease management group and the control group(P>0.05).mRS scores: There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after management(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the TCM chronic disease management group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1 In this study,the stroke-specific quality of life scale(SS-QOL)was used to evaluate the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke recovery.The two groups were superior to management before overall health,energy,mood,personality,home role,self-care ability,and upper limb ability.The TCM chronic disease management group is superior to the control group in terms of energy,mood,self-care ability and upper limb ability.2 This study preliminarily confirmed that TCM chronic disease management can improve the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke recovery.
