Objective: By observing the influence of TCM chronic disease management on the daily living ability of patients with ischemic stroke recovery,and from the patient self-report,to understand the impact of patients on their physiological,psychological and social relationships and treatment satisfaction.Understand the impact of TCM chronic disease management on diseases and patients.Methods:A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted to divide the patients who met the inclusion criteria into two groups: the chronic disease management group and the control group.There were 76 cases in chronic disease management group and 76 cases in control group,totaling 152 cases.Both groups were given routine basic treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine as needed.The management of chronic diseases in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)was followed up once every 2 weeks(including household visits,telephone calls,Wechat,etc.).According to Wang Qi's TCM physique standard,it was divided into 9 physiques.According to different physique characteristics,it carried out diet,living,exercise guidance,and medication guidance according to patients' needs.It urged regular check-up and health lectures once a month.The two groups were observed for 3 months.The basic information of patients,modified RANKIN scale(mRS),Barthel index scale and clinical outcome evaluation scale(PRO)based on the reports of stroke patients were recorded and analyzed at the end of the study.Results: The two groups were statistically processed in terms of gender and age,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05),which was comparable.There were no significant differences in the mRS score,NIHSS score,Barthel index,and the scores of each dimension and PRO scores between the two groups(P>0.05).NIHSS scores: The NIHSS scores of the Chinese medicine group and the control group were significantly lower after management than when enrolled(P<0.05),while the NIHSS scores of the Chinese medicine group after management were not significantly improved compared with the control group(P>0.05).mRS scores: There was no significant difference between the two groups after management of mRS scores(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).BI score: The scores measured by the Chinese medicine group and the control group after management were significantly higher than those before management(P<0.05).The BI scores between the two groups after management were compared,and the total BI indexes of the Chinese medicine group and the control group after management.There was a significant difference(p<0.05),which was significantly lower in the control group than in the Chinese medicine group.The scores measured by the TCM group in the BI index were significantly higher than those before the management(P<0.05),while the control group was in the urine(P<0.05),modification(P<0.05),and toilet(P<0.05),eating(P<0.01),moving(P<0.05),activity(P<0.01),and dressing(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the movement(p<0.01)and activity(p<0.05)between the TCM group and the control group,and there was no significant difference in the remaining indicators(p>0.05).PRO score: There were significant differences in the dimensions of the post-management measurement of the Chinese medicine group and the control group(p<0.01),which were significantly higher in the control group than in the traditional Chinese medicine group(p<0.01).Conclusion: The management of chronic diseases in traditional Chinese medicine can improve the daily living ability and the outcomes of stroke patients in convalescence stage...
