| Objective: The expression levels of Th1,Th17 cell-related factors IL-2,IFN-γ,TNF-α,IL-17,IL-21 and IL-23 in serum of patients with psoriasis vulgaris were detected and compared with those of healthy control group. The clinical significance was discussed to provide basis for the treatment of psoriasis in the future. Methods: 1.Psoriasis vulgaris patients who visited dermatology department of Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from February2018 to November 2018 were collected and their general condition and clinical data were recorded.and their general condition and clinical data were recorded. The patients were scored by the same medical staff for psoriasis area and severity index(PASI).Health workers and health examinees(without any other disease history)were selected as the control group.2.The serum levels of IL-2,IFN-γ,TNF-α,IL-17,IL-21 and IL-23 in patients with psoriasis vulgaris and healthy controls were detected and recorded by double antibody enzyme sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and all the data collected were analyzed statistically. Results: Among the 48 patients with psoriasis vulgaris,31 were male(64.6%)and 17 were female(35.4%).The ratio of male to female was 1.82:1,the age was(7-66)years,the average age was 41.19 +17.35 years, and the course of the disease was 1-20 years.(1)The expression level of IL-2 in psoriasis group was lower than that in control group, the difference in statistic was significant(P< 0.05).The expression levels of IFN-γ,TNF-α,IL-17,IL-21 and IL-23 in psoriasis group were higher than those in control group, the difference in statistic was significant(P< 0.05).There was no significant correlation between the levels of serum Th1-related cytokines(IL-2,IFN-γ,TNF-α)and Th17-related cytokines(IL-17,IL-21,IL-23)in psoriasis group(P> 0.05).(2)There was no significant correlation between IL-2,TNF-α and PASI(P> 0.05).IFN-γ,IL-17,IL-21 and IL-23 were positively correlated with PASI score(P< 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Th1-related cytokines IL-2 and TNF-α may be involved in the occurrence of psoriasis.2.Th1-related cytokines IFN-γ and Th17-related cytokines IL-17,IL-21 and IL-23 may be involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, which may be related to the activity and severity of the disease, and may become serum indicators for clinicians to evaluate the condition. |
