| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine and external application combined with local fluid sclerotherapy in the treatment of thyroid cysts.By analyzing the reduction of thyroid cyst volume before and after treatment,the changes of TCM syndrome scores,the changes of thyroid function indexes,and the changes of liver and kidney function indexes,To explore the mechanism and efficacy of this study,evaluate the feasibility and safety of clinical applications,and provide a new suitable technology for the clinical treatment of thyroid cysts.Methods: 77 patients with thyroid cysts with qi stagnation,blood stasis and blood stasis were enrolled.All cases were from inpatients from the Department of Endocrinology,Guanggu,Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2017 to October 2018.During hospitalization,they received traditional Chinese medicine,Liqi Huatan Huoxue Recipe,and Liqi Xiaoying cream applied externally to the neck and local extracts.Ethanol sclerotherapy,continued oral administration of Chinese medicine and external application of Liqi Xiaoying cream ointment after discharge,patients who were discharged from the thyroid specialist or endocrinology department of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine one month after discharge.Observe the efficacy evaluation of patients before and after treatment,changes in TCM syndrome scores,changes in thyroid cyst volume,changes in thyroid function indicators,and indicators of liver and kidney function in safety indicators.The corresponding statistical methods were used for analysis.Results:(1)After treatment of 77 patients,the number of cured cases was 24,the number of effective cases was 24,the number of effective cases was 25,and the number of invalid cases was 4 cases.The total effective rate was 94.81%,indicating that the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and external application plus local sclerotherapy has obvious curative effect.(2)Analysis of the efficacy of TCM syndrome showed that the total effective rate of TCM syndromes after treatment was 92.21%,indicating that the symptoms improved significantly after treatment.(3)Comparative analysis of single symptom scores of TCM showed that the main symptoms and secondary symptoms of the patients were significantly improved after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).(4)The volume of thyroid cysts changed.After treatment,the volume of thyroid cysts was significantly reduced,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).(5)There was no significant difference in the changes of thyroid function index after treatment,and there was no statistical significance(p>0.05).(6)There was no significant difference in the changes of liver andkidney function indexes after treatment,and there was no statistical significance(p>0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine Liqi Huatan Huoxue Recipe,Liqi Xiaoying Ointment externally applied before neck combined with local sclerotherapy for thyroid cyst is effective,not only significantly reduces the volume of thyroid cyst,but also has no obvious damage to thyroid function and liver and kidney function.Adverse reactions occurred,indicating that the research program has certain clinical promotion value. |
