The Clinical Efficacy Observing Of Liqi Huatan Xiaoying Decoction In Treating Benign Thyroid Nodules(Qi Stagnation And Phlegm Stasis Type)

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Liqi Huatan Xiaoying Decoction in the treatment of benign thyroid nodules(qi stagnation and phlegm stasis type).Method80 cases with randomized controlled trial method with the research standard were divided into two groups,treatment group and control group with 40 cases in each group,the control group without any treatment,only needs follow-up observation;treatment group needs to take Liqi Huatan Xiaoying Decoction The observation period is 2 months.After the end of the observation period,the size of nodules,clinical efficacy,TCM syndromes and FT3,FT4,TSH,TgAb,TPOAb and other related indicators will be compared between the two groups,At the last,the using of SPSS22.0 statistical software will be helpful to get a conlusion.for another word,whether there is statistically significant difference between the two groups.Results1.general data comparison: the two groups of patients with age,sex,course of disease were compared,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),the two groups were comparable.2.Analysis on the size of thyroid nodules After treatment,The maximum diameter of thyroid nodules in the treatment group was smaller than before,the result was statistically significant(P<0.01).showing that the treatment group can reduce the size of thyroid nodules;The maximum diameter of thyroid nodules in control group showed no significant difference than before(P>0.05)indicating that the control group did not change the size of thyroid nodules;The two group had no statistically significant difference after treatment(P<0.01),3.TCM syndrome integral comparison: treatment group and control group before treatment,t=0.103,P=0.919,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),treatment group before and after treatment,integral t=11.526,P=0.000,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),compared to the integral group before and after treatment with t=-1.357,P=0.183,no difference statistical significance(P > 0.05),the treatment group and control group t=-8.034,P=0.000 scores,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of treatment group(66.7%)was better than that of control group,the total effective rate was(5.5%),compared with two,z=-5.303,P=0.000,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).5.Comparison of curative effect of TCM syndromes: the total effective rate of TCM syndromes in treatment group(84.6%)was higher than that of control group(11.1%),and the difference of z=-6.073 and P=0.000 between two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).6.Comparison of safety indicators:(1)between the two groups of FT3,FT4,TSH,TPOAb,TgAb before and after treatment,there were no significant differences(P > 0.05);the two groups before and after FT3,FT4,TSH,TPOAb,TgAb treatment,there were no significant differences(P > 0.05).(2)during the course of the study,two groups of patients were not suffering from nausea,vomiting,abdominal pain and other serious adverse reactions.Conclusion1.Liqi Huatan Xiaoying Decoction can effectively reduce the size of the thyroid nodule;2.Liqi Huatan Xiaoying Decoction can obviously improve the TCM Syndromes of the patients;3.Liqi Huatan Xiaoying Decoction have no adverse effects on thyroid function(TSH,FT4,FT3)and thyroid autoimmune antibodies(TPOAb,TgAb);...
