Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Low Back Pain Of Cold-dampness Syndrome With Qingyao Decoction Under The Guidance Of Qingyang Theory

Objective To make the scientific and objective evaluation by analyzing the cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation of cold-dampness syndrome which was treated by Qingyao Decoction under the guidance of Qingyang theory quoted in the Huangdi's Classic on Medicine.The study included recovery of the main symptoms and the symptoms of digestive function.It is aimed at exploring the efficacy of the treatment of lumbar disc herniation of cold-dampness syndrome with Qingyao Decoction,and expanding the thinking of medical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods All the patients with low back pain(lumbar disc herniation)of cold-dampness syndrome who participated in the study were selected from the outpatient department of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2017 to April 2018.Depending on the proposed inclusion criteria and screening criteria,60 cases of patients were analyzed in this study.There were 30 casesin each of the tranditional Chinese medicine group and the Western medicine group.The Chinese medicine group was all treated with Qingyao Decoction.The Western medicine group was treated with nimesulide and mecobalamin.The treatment time in both groups was two weeks,and the follow-up took place in the fourth month after the third diagnosis.The data of the initial diagnosis,the second diagnosis,the third diagnosis and the follow-up were compared and analyzed separately.Finally,statistical methods are utilized to analyze the data to reach conclusions.Results Before treatment,the data of traditional Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group was compared.Statistical analysis showed that P value was higher than 0.05.There was no statistical difference between the two groups.Intra-group comparison: JOA scores of Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group increased;statistical analysis showed that P value was lower than 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Digestive function score of Chinese medicine group decreased.Statistical analysis showed that P was lower than 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.Digestive function score of Western medicine group was not significantly reduced,the difference was statistically analyzed and P was higher than 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.Contrastive analysis between the two groups: JOA scores of the two groups increased after one week of treatment,while those of the Western medicine group were slightly higher than those of the traditional Chinese medicine group.Statistical analysis of the differences between the two groups showed that P was lower than 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.Two weeks later,the JOA scores of both groups increased,and the scores of traditional Chinese medicine group were higher than those of Western medicine group.Statistical analysis of the differences between the two groups showed that P was lower than 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.Relapse and total effective rate: the total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine group was 90.00%,the total effective rate of Western medicine group was 83.33%.Statistical calculation showed that P was lower than 0.05,there were statistical differences.Follow-up recurrence number: traditional Chinese medicine group had 6 people,Western medicine group had 5 people,the statistical calculation of P was higher than 0.05,there is not a statistical difference between the two groups.Conclusion Both the traditional Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group can effectively relieve or even cure the symptoms of lumbar pain,lower limb radiation pain and movement limitation.The treatment of traditional Chinese medicine group is effective in improving digestive function.Western medicine group has a quick effect;traditional Chinese medicine group has a slower effect than western medicine group,but the comprehensive effect is higher than western medicine group.There was no statistical difference in recurrence rate between the two groups.The theory of "Qingyang" has its advantages in guiding the treatment of low back pain of cold-dampness syndrome with Qingyao Decoction.It plays an active role in maintaining the balance of patients' physical function and promoting Chinese culture.
