Objective: To observe the effectiveness and safety of qingjin zhisu decoction combined with traditional western medicine intreating cough variant asthma with phlegm-heat stagnation syndrome. Methods: Methods 72 patients with cough variant asthma(phlegm heat blocking lung syndrome)were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 36 cases each. The control group was given aminophylline sustained-release tablets(orally,1 tablet per time,1 time per day).Salbutamol sulfate aerosol inhalation, each 200 ug,1 time in the morning and night),on the basis of the control group and treatment group with oral qing jin check rinse party(day jiang formula granules, water a blunt,1 bag each time,3 times a day.Half an hour after a meal, will be 1 bag of formula particles into the cup,add100 ml boiling water and stir to mix well with chopsticks, clothing)treatment after being moderate water temperature, with medication for 2 weeks. The symptoms and signs, bronchial stimulation test(positive and negative),eosinophil(EOS)count ratio in induced sputum,TCM syndrome score and various safety indicators of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were observed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the two treatment methods in this study.Result:(1)Comparison of curative effect of TCM syndromes: before and after treatment,intra-group comparison of TCM syndrome scores of patients in the two groups was conducted, and the results showed that P<0.05,which was statistically significant. This indicated that both groups could improve the TCM syndrome score of patients.By comparing the total effective rate and the total cure rate of the two groups,it can be seen that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group;(2)Compari son of bronchial stimulation test results: before and after treatment,intra-group comparison of bronchial stimulation test results of patients in the two groups showed that P<0.05,which was statistically significant. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups.By comparing the conversion rate of bronchial stimulation test be tween the two groups,we can see that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group;(3)Comparison of the proportion of EOS count in induce d sputum: before and after treatment,an intra-group comparison of the proportion of EOS count in induced sputum of the two groups was conducted, and the results showed that P < 0.05 was statistically significant. The ratio of EOS count in induced sputum of the two groups after treatment was compared, and the ratio of EOS count in induced sputum of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, indicating that the treatme nt effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group;(4)Comparison of single symptoms of each TCM: before and after treatment,intra-group comparison of single symptoms of each TCM was conducted, and the results showed that P < 0.05,with statistical significance. This indicated that both groups had therapeutic effects. In the treatment of cough, cough, sputum yellow viscous, the treatment group is better than the control group. There was no significant difference in the treatment of pleural bulges, hot naked face and dry mouth;(5)Comparison of safety indicators: before and after treatment, blood routin e,urine routine, fecal routine, liver and kidney function, and electrocardiogram results of patients in the two groups were compared within the group, respectively. The results showed that: P < 0.05,with no statistical significance. It was explained that the two treatment schemes in this study had no significant influence on the blood routine, urine routine, fecal routine, liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram of the patients. Before and after treatment,no adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, rash, allergy and shock occurred in all the patients participating in this study, indicating that both test methods in this study have good safety. Conclusion: Qingjin zhisou decoction combined with conventional western medicine for the treatment of cough variant asthma with phlegm-heat stagnation and lung type is more effective than traditional western medicine alone. It is safe to use and has no obvious adverse reactions and side effects.
