Objective: To observe the clinical effect of pain point massage in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.METHODS: According to the diagnostic criteria of cervical spondylosis in the Guiding Principles for Clinical Research of New Chinese Medicine promulgated by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine,80 CSR patients from the outpatient department and inpatient department of Massage Department of Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hubei Province from June 2018 to January 2019 were included in the study.During the course of treatment, all patients completed and recorded the relevant medical records, including physical signs, clinical manifestations,X-ray,CT,nuclear magnetic resonance and so on.General data included 80 CSR patients from the outpatient department and inpatient department of massage department of Wuhan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,Hubei Province, from June2018 to January 2019.During the course of treatment, all patients completed and recorded the relevant medical records, including physical signs, clinical manifestations,X-ray,CT,nuclear magnetic resonance and so on.Eighty patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the ratio of1:1.The treatment group was treated by massage manipulation of pain points through blood-dredging combined with cervical traction, while the control group was treated by electro-acupuncture combined with cervical traction. Both groups were treated simultaneously. The two groups were treated once a day,5 consecutive days a week after rest for 2 days,a week for a course of treatment, treatment for 2 weeks,a total of two courses. Before and after treatment, the overall curative effect, symptom score and pain score were used to evaluate the curative effect of the two groups before and after treatment. Results: In the course of treatment,73 patients completed the treatment,7 patients lost,38 patients in the observation group and 35 patients in the control group.Overall efficacy comparison:The number of cases between the two groups was compared,P > 0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference in the number of cases between the two groups, and the grouping was comparable. There was no significant difference in age,sex or course between the treatment group and the control group. After treatment, comparison within the group: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 97.37%,the marked effective rate was 89.47%,the total effective rate of the control group was 91.43%,the marked effective rate was 71.43%,indicating that both groups had effects in the treatment of the disease.Inter-group comparison: The treatment group is better than the control group in both obvious and total efficiency, indicating that the treatment group is better than the control group in terms of improving symptoms and alleviating pain. Conclusion: 1.Both massage manipulation combined with cervical traction and electro-acupuncture combined with cervical traction are effective in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve-neck type.2.The therapeutic effect of massage manipulation combined with cervical traction is better than that of electro-acupuncture combined with cervical traction.3.The treatment of CSR by massage manipulation combined with traction can significantly improve the pain symptoms of patients, with less side effects and high safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
