Objective:Through the standardization clinical study of Treatment for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by "long shi" Manipulation, discussing the superiority of this treatment and evaluating the efficacy and safety of this method, summarizing the experience of diagnosis and treatment for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR) by "long shi" manipulation. Methods:The subjects followthe evidence-basedmedicine, DME principles. Select ion the60cases who fit the inclusion criteria of CSR for the study and were randomly divided into treatment courses (n=30) and the control courses (n=30), according to the different types dislocation of patients we were use the corresponding "Long shi" manual reduction, control group treatment by sitting traction. Fore-and-aft treatment every case is used in the2010State pharmaceutical Administration of medical Administration issued a "cervical spondylosis score table" and "Jane McGill, visual analogous scale、VAS, present pain intensity、 PPI) rating "for symptom score. After the end of treatment, comparing the before treatment symptom scores with after treatment symptom scores of each group, observing fore-and-aft clinical symptoms. And recording adverse events occurring through treatment. Results:Before treatment, there is no significant differences of every observations between the treatment course and the control course (P>0.05). After treatment:These are symptoms and signs of improvement rate:the treatment group of "long shi" Manipulation:more than90%、14cases(43%),70%to90%、9eases (35%),30%to70%、5cases (14%), less than30%、2eases (8%); The control group of traction:more more than90%、3cases(9%),70%to90%、11eases(35%),30%to70%、11cases(30%), less than30%、5eases(19%).The symptoms and signs after treatment of each groups are better than before treatment (P<0.01), there are significant difference. Treatment group after treatment symptom scores is better than the control group symptom scores (P<0.05), there are significant difference. The results show that the treatment group in an improvement rate and assessment of Jane’s McGill total score were better than the control group(P<0.01), significant difference. Conclusion:Both "long shi manipulation" and "sitting traction" treatment could improving the clinical symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).The "long shi manipulation" is more effective than treatment with sitting traction, better for clinical used.
