Clinical Controlled Trial Of New-type Of Cervical Traction Bed Curing Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

Objective:Through a randomized controlled trial,traction therapy by a new-type of cervical traction bed combined with massage treatment curing Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy,to observe the new-type of cervical traction bed and ordinary occipital-jaw belt traction therapy's improvememt for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy patients' symptoms scale and pain scale,confirm the clinical efficacy of new-type of cervical traction bed and optimize traction method for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Method:80 patients included in the standard were randomly divided into two groups: experimental group and control group.Both groups used massage as the foundation treatment,which is the therapeutic method for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy used by massage department,teaching hospital of chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)-key subject of state administration of TCM.Treatment group used new-type of cervical traction bed,which is named new-type of cervical traction bed group,and control group used ordinary occipital-jaw belt traction therapy,which is named ordinary occipital-jaw belt group.Recorders would evaluate clinical observation indicators before treatment,after the first course of treatment and the second course of treatment(10 days for a course of treatment)and evaluate the overall curative effect at the end of treatment.Results:1.New-type of cervical traction bed group and ordinary occipital-jaw belt group both have comparability when their baseline(demographic data,vital signs,illness state data)is no statistically significant difference(p > 0.05).2.Intra-group comparisons of new-type of cervical traction bed group and ordinary occipital-jaw belt group at two time points of before and after treatment found that two groups' scores of symptoms scale and pain scale appeared significant differences.There are statistically significant difference(p < 0.05).3.The research discovered that after the first course of treatment,symptom scale of two groups was no statistical significance(p>0.05);after the first course of treatment,symptom scale scores of new-type of cervical traction bed group was significantly higher than the sores of ordinary occipital-jaw belt group and visual analogue scale scores of new-type of cervical traction bed group were both significantly lower than the scores of ordinary occipital-jaw belt group by comparing between new-type of cervical traction bed group and ordinary occipital-jaw belt group,which both had statistically significant difference(p < 0.05).4.Overall effect rate of new-type of cervical traction bed group was 95% and ordinary occipital-jaw belt group's was 92%.The total effective rate of new-type of cervical traction bed group was better than ordinary occipital-jaw belt group's.And the difference was statistically significant(p< 0.05).5.The therapeutic schedule of new-type of cervical traction bed group and ordinary occipital-jaw belt group were both good security and compliance.Conclusion:1.The traction treatment of new-type of cervical traction bed with massage has exact curative effecton for curing cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.2.The therapeutic schedule of new-type of cervical traction bed group has more obvious effect on curing cervical spondylotic radiculopathy than the therapeutic schedule of ordinary occipital-jaw belt group.3.The new type of cervical traction bed's curative effect is distinct to treat Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy and has good safety.New type of cervical traction bed has the significance of further research and promotion.
