Objectives:1.Exploring the application method of continuation nursing mode based on WeChat platform in patients with PICC catheterization;2.Analysis of the application of continuation care mode based on WeChat platform in patients with PICC catheterization;3.Provide reference for the future hospital to develop an effective continuation care plan for patients with PICC catheterization. Methods:Using convenient sampling method,2018.06-2018.09 was selected from the Department of Oncology,Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University,and110 patients with PICC catheterization were selected in our hospital.110 patients were randomly divided into experimental groups by random number table method.(n=55)and control group(n=55).The control group continued the routine discharge care service. The experimental group added the continuation nursing intervention based on the WeChat platform on the basis of the routine discharge care service. Both groups were followed up for 12 weeks. The general data of the two groups were collected before the intervention and the PICC self-management ability scale was used to investigate the self-management ability of the two groups. After 12weeks of intervention, the self-management ability of the two groups was again investigated and compared. The catheterization of the two groups was maintained on time.Number and number of misses and complications(phlebitis,catheter-related infections,catheter-related thrombi, catheter blockage, catheterization, unplanned extubation).SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data, the frequency of counting data was used, the percentage was expressed, and the measurement data was expressed by mean standard deviation. The difference was statistically significant at P<0.05.Results:1.Baseline comparison:Before the intervention, the general demographic data of the two groups were not statistically different(P>0.05),which was comparable;the self-management ability scores of the control group and the experimental group were(124.01±15.76),(127.71±16.18),t=0.711,P=0.482,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and was comparable.2.After implementing the continuation nursing based on WeChat platform, the self-management ability scores of the control group and the experimental group were(136.67±9.83)and(145.47±8.25),respectively,and the score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,t=5.631,P=0.000,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of catheter-related complication rates:A total of 22complications occurred with PICC catheterization within 12 weeks after discharge, accounting for21.16%of the total. In the control group,3 cases(5.88%),8 cases(15.69%),2 cases of catheter obstruction(3.92%),4 cases(7.84%)of oozing effusion at puncture site,a total of 17 cases(33.33%);There were 2 cases(3.77%)in group phlebitis,2 cases(3.77%)in infection,0case(0.00%)in catheter obstruction, and 1cases(1.89%)in oozing exudate of puncture,a total of 5cases(9.43%).The overall incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,?~2=8.901,P=0.003.The complication rate of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.05).4.Comparison of catheter maintenance compliance:patients in the control group should undergo catheter maintenance 619 times according to the doctor's advice,13of them(25.49%)were not maintained on time,27 times(4.36%),and catheter maintenance compliance rate was 74.51.%;patients in the experimental group should be catheterized 648 times according to the doctor's advice,5 of which(9.43%)were not maintained on time,9 times(1.39%),and catheter maintenance compliance rate was 90.57%.The catheter maintenance compliance of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,?~2=4.682,P=0.030,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The continuation of the nursing model based on the WeChat platform for PICC-intubated tumor patients can improve the self-management ability and catheter maintenance compliance of patients with PICC catheterization, and reduce catheter-related complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
