| Objective:1.To apply internet technology on the management of Peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC),and develop "Internet plus PICC" information management platform,so as to solve the deficiencies in the existing work mode,optimize the clinical work mode and improve the nursing work efficiency.2.To explore the influence of the "Internet plus PICC" information management platform on patients with PICC.To provide technical support for the more scientific and refined nursing management of PICC and provide a platform for the sharing of nursing resources of PICC.Methods:Part ?:Through literature review,brainstorming and discussion in PICC research group,combining with the clinical work needs of PICC specialist nurses and the needs of PICC patients,the design scheme of information management platform was drawn up by author.And then the scheme was submitted to information engineers relying on WeChat official account for platform development.Part ?:Using the quasi-experiment study method,the study included patients who needed PICC for cancer chemotherapy.The patients with traditional management methods were set as the control group(n=120).The patients who were managed by the "Internet plus PICC" information management platform were set up as the observation group(n=120).The data integrity,timely maintenance execution rate,complications of different management methods,the ability of self-management and the effect of the platform on nurses registration and retrospective search information were evaluated in two groups during three months follow-up.The data were analyzed by SPSS.Results:Part ?:We have developed a PICC information management platform for online information sharing among patients,multiple departments,hospitals,and applied the platform to clinical nursing management.Part ?:A total of 240 patients with PICC were enrolled in the study,120 in the control group and 120 in the observation group.In the course of the study,the control group lost one case,finally included in 119 cases;the observation group lost two cases,finally included in 118 cases.There were 237 cases of patients were collected effectively.1.The complete rate of the registered data in the control group was 69.7%;the complete rate of the recorded data in the observation group was 94.9%.The observation group was significantly better than the control group(x2=25.738,P<0.05).2.The total number of maintenance in the control group was 1471 times,including 1220 times of on-time maintenance,and the implementation rate of on-time maintenance was 82.9%;the total number of maintenance in the observation group was 1426 times,including 1311 times of on-time maintenance,and the implementation rate of on-time maintenance was 91.9%.The maintenance implementation rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(x2=53.121,P<0.05).3.There were 26 complications in the two groups,19 in the control group(16%)and 7 in the observation group(5.9%).The overall incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group in the puncture point oozing blood,catheter prolapse rate was lower than that in the control group,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).4.There were significant differences between the two groups in the total score of self-management ability and the scores of four dimensions(P<0.05),including daily life with catheter,compliance with catheter maintenance,daily observation and information acquisition,but there were no significant differences in the scores of the three dimensions of daily exercise,management of catheter abnormalities and self-management confidence(P>0.05).5.The control group needs 57.77±5.195 seconds to complete the information registration,the observation group needs 18.96±2.886 seconds to complete the information registration,and the observation group needs significantly less time to register the information than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The "Internet plus PICC" information management platform is economical and practical,simple and convenient to operate.It can share information on Internet for many departments,hospitals and patients.The application of platform helps to improve the integrity of patients' data,reduce the time of nurses' registration of PICC information,improve the time of patient catheter maintenance,improve patient self-management ability and reduce the incidence rate of catheter complications.2.The application of the "Internet plus PICC" information management platform has realized the standardization and informationization of PICC specialist management,and provided technical support for the refinement of PICC nursing management.At the same time,it provides a platform for PICC nursing resource sharing,which is conducive to multi-point maintenance of patients,and maintains the integrity,continuity and traceability of patient maintenance information after catheterization.Optimized the clinical nursing work mode,improved the work efficiency of nursing staff,which is worth popularizing and using in many departments and hospitals. |
