BackgroundWith the aggravation of the social process of population aging and the change of age structure, the number of elderly population is increasing year by year.China has entered a state of "getting old before getting rich".Due to the natural decline of the elderly's physical function, the body's self-protection function is gradually weakened, and the risk of chronic diseases is increasing, resulting in a series of social problems such as the increase of medical resources cost and social burden. Therefore,it is one of the social problems that our country needs to pay attention to at this stage to ensure the living standard of the elderly, improve their life satisfaction in their later years and realize "healthy aging".ObjectivesThis study explores the relationship between social support and life satisfaction of the elderly by understanding the current situation of life satisfaction of the elderly and its related influencing factors, further explores the influence of medical insurance related policies on the current situation of life satisfaction of the elderly, puts forward measures to improve the life satisfaction of the elderly, improves the social security the happy life of the elderly in their later years.MethodsIn the first stage, three of Kaifeng's five districts(Longting District,Xiangfu District and shunhe)were randomly selected by a phased random sampling method. In the second stage, the elderly over 60 years old in six of the selected investigation areas(Bian-Cun,Pingguoyuan Community,Caomen Community,Daxing-Street Community,Lengmen Village and Tucheng)were selected according to the principle of random coding to carry out on-site investigation. The survey tools include general sociodemographic characteristics questionnaire survey,Life Satisfaction Index A(LSIA),Social Support Rating Scale,SSRS),descriptive statistical method,Independent Sample T Test,One-Way ANOVA,Nonparametric Test,Multiple Linear Regression, and statistical analysis. The test standard ?=0.05.Results(1)The elderly life satisfaction and social support status quoThe average life satisfaction of the elderly was(28.78±3.62),the average positive emotion treatment.(3)Correlation analysis between life satisfaction score of the elderly and social supportSpearman correlation analysis results show that the life satisfaction score of the elderly is positively correlated with the level of social support, and the correlation coefficient is r = 0.976(P<0.05),among which the objective support level, subjective support level, utilization of support are positively correlated with the life satisfaction score of the elderly, and the correlation coefficients are r=0.642,r=0.649,r = 0.384(P<0.05);(4)Multivariate Linear Regression Analysis of Factors Affecting Life Satisfaction of the ElderlyThe results of multiple linear regression analysis show that general socio-demographic data(age, gender, marital status, physical examination habits, physical health status, mental health status, number of children, total household income, etc.)and medical insurance-related data(understanding of medical insurance policies, satisfaction with reimbursement rate of
