A Preliminary Study Of The Correlation Between The Effect Of Treating Lumbar Disc Herniation And Staged Treatment By Manipulation Based On 'GUPEN QIANZHENG'

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of treating lumbar disc herniation by manipulation based on "GUPEN QIANZHENG".Methods:57 selected patients with lumbar disc herniation treated in the hospital from December 2017 to June 2018 were divided into two groups by registration order.Odd numbers were included into'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group(n=29)and even numbers were included into traditional TUINA group(n=28).The traditional TUINA group was treated by soft tissue release manipulation combined with lumbar spine posterior pull-up manipulation,and'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group was treated by soft tissue release manipulation during acute inflammation period,and by soft tissue release manipulation combined with manipulation based on'GUPEN QIANZHENG'during inflammatory remission period.Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI)score and simple McGill pain(MPQ)score of two groups were compared before and after treatment.Result:Before and after 1-3 weeks,ODI score of 'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group are(15.83±6.96),(13.77±5.44),(6.83±4.01)and(4.28±1.96),ODI score of traditional TUINA group are(15.46±6.65),(14.07±6.29),(9.96±5.67)and(8.36±2.10).MPQ score includes PRI?VAS and PPI.Before and 1-3 weeks,PRI score of 'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group are(4.97±4.07),(4.52±3.79)(2.45±1.90)and(1.59±1.55),PRI score of traditional TUINA group are(4.93±3.63),(4.61±3.58),(3.79±3.50)and(3.07±3.32).VAS score of GUPEN QIANZHENG' group are(3.66±1.32),(3.24±1.21),(2.45±1.90)and(1.24±0.69),VAS score of traditional TUINA group are(3.71±1.15),(3.60±1.20),(2.86±1.01)and(2.18±1.19).PPI score of 'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group are(2.97±0.73),(2.72±0.88),(1.76±1.02)and(1.17±0.93),PPI score of traditional TUINA group are(2.96±0.69),(2.75±0.80)?(2.29±0.98)and(1.82±0.82),Compared with pre-treatment,ODI score and MPQ score of two groups significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05).When treating for 1 week,ODI score and MPQ score of'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group were lower than traditional group,but not significantly(P>0.05).Treating for 2 weeks,ODI score and MPQ score of'GUPEN QIANZHENG' group were significantly lower than traditional group(P<0.05).After treatment,ODI score and MPQ score of 'GUPEN QIANZHENG'group were significantly lower than traditional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For the patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation,the apply of 'GUPEN QIANZHENG' manipulation in staged treatment can significantly improve the clinical efficacy,improve the quality of life,and promote the recovery of the patients.
