| Objective:Needle-finger tremor and qi-promoting method is a new type of acupuncture treatment method.It is a summary of the clinical practice of acupuncture and moxibustion of Professor Wu Zhiming for more than 30 years.This subject intends to observe,compare and analyze the clinical efficacy of this method and mild reinforcing-reducing method in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency type,so as to explore the actual effect and effectiveness of needle-finger tremor and qi-promoting method,and provide a new,safe and reliable acupuncture treatment for knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency type.Method:Seventy-two patients with knee osteoarthritis of deficiency of liver and kidney who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,36 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with the method of needle-finger tremor and qi-promoting,while the control group was treated with the method of mild reinforcing-reducing.The treatment group and the control group were treated with Xiyan(inside and outside),Xuehai,Liangqiu,Yanglingquan and Taixi three times a week,two weeks as a course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment.Qualified subjects were scored by VAS and WOMAC scales before and after treatment respectively,and the data were analyzed by SPSS22.0statistical analysis.The differences of scores between the two groups before and after treatment were compared,and the comprehensive efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated.Result:1.72 cases were included,65 cases were completed and 7 cases were dropped out.In the treatment group,33 cases were completed,3 cases were abscission,32 cases in the control group and 4 cases were abscission.The basic data(sex,age,course of disease,location)and VAS,W0 MAC scores before treatment were compared between the two groups.Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The VAS scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared:the VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were improved compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.001),indicating that both groups were effective;the VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving pain.3.WOMAC scores before and after treatment in the two groups were compared:WOMAC scores of the two groups were improved after treatment compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.001),indicating that both groups were effective in treatment;WOMAC scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly different(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving pain,stiffness and daily activities of knee joint.4.Comprehensive curative effect evaluation: After two courses of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.88%,and that of the control group was 71.87%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5.Safety evaluation: There were no abnormal changes in blood pressure,pulse,body temperature and heart rate in the two groups before and after treatment,andthere were no needle fainting,needle breaking and needle stagnation accidents in the operating rules of acupuncture,suggesting that both treatment methods have good safety.Conclusion:1.Needle-finger tremor and qi-promoting method and mild reinforcing-reducing method have significant clinical effects on knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency type.2.Needle-finger tremor and qi-promoting method has more advantages in relieving pain,relieving stiffness of joints and improving daily activities than mild reinforcing-reducing method,and the effect is more obvious.3.In the course of treatment,there were no obvious adverse reactions and side effects.Therefore,the method of needle-finger tremor and qi-promoting provides a new,safe and reliable acupuncture treatment for knee osteoarthritis of deficiency of liver and kidney. |
