Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Dry Eye With Yin Deficiency Of Liver And Kidney By Acupuncture Combined With Zi-Mu Reinforcing And Reducing Method

[Objective]Observing and evaluating the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with Zi-Mu reinforcing and reducing method in treating dry eye with Yin deficiency of liver and kidney.[Methods]According with the inclusion criteria,eighty outpatients diagnosed with dre eye with yin deficiency of liver and kidney were selected from the ophthalmology department of Jiaxing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2022 and divided into control group and experimental group with 40 cases in each group by random number method.The control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops three times a day in the morning,middle and evening,1 to 2 drops each time for 1 month;On the basis of the control group,the experimental group was treated with acupuncture combined with Zi-Mu reinforcing and reducing method.The acupoints of Ququan(LR 8),Yingu(KI 10),Fuliu(KI 7),Jingqu(LU 8),Baihui(DU 20),Jingming(BL 1),Cuanzhu(BL 2),Taiyang(EX-HN 5),Sibai(ST 2)and Fengchi(GB 20)were selected for acupuncture treatment once every other day for one month,15 times in total.The dry eye symptom score,NIBUT,SIT and CFS-were observed before and after treatment.The data were analyzed with SPSS25.0 statistical software,and the clinical effects of the two groups were comprehensively evaluated.[Results]1.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in dry eye symptom score,NIBUT,SIT and CFS(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.After the treatment of one month,the scores of symptoms of TCM,NIBUT,SIT and CFS in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);comparison between the two groups showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving TCM symptom score,NIBUT and SIT,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),but there was no statistical difference between the two groups in improving CFS(P>0.05).3.According to the evaluation of efficacy indicators,after 1 month of treatment,the total effective rate of the control group was 73.68%,and that of the experimental group was 92.31%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Acupuncture combined with Zi-Mu reinforcing and reducing method and the application of sodium hyaluronate eye drops can effectively improve the symptoms of TCM,improve the stability of tear film,and promote the secretion of tears in patients with Yin deficiency of liver and kidney,and the clinical effect of the former is better than that of sodium hyaluronate eye drops.
