Clinical Observation Of Si-miao-Tong-feng-an Mixture In The Treatment Of Damp-heat Blockage Type Of Gouty Arthritis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Si-miao-tong-feng-an mixture in the treatment of damp-heat blockage type of gouty arthritis;provide evidence and reference for exploring traditional Chinese medicine for treating gouty arthritis,and provide evidence-based evidence for clinical treatment of damp-heat blockage type of gouty arthritis.Methods:In a randomized controlled clinical trial,60 patients with damp-heat blockage type of gouty arthritis who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into 30 patients in the test group and 30 patients in the control group.The experimental group was given Si-miao-tong-feng-an mixture,and the control group was given Tongfengding capsule.If the joint pain was too severe that the patient could not tolerate,the test group and the control group could be added with aceclofenac tablets for 5 days.The curative index of TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment,uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,and time to symptom relief were observed.Safety indicators such as blood routine,urine routine,stool routine,liver and kidney function were observed before and after treatment.Results:(1)By comparison he general data of the two groups such as gender,age,duration of disease and other related conditions,P>0.05,there was no statistical significance between the groups,suggesting that the clinical study is feasible.(2)Before treatment,the scores of TCM symptom,uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein in the two groups were compared,P>0.05,suggesting that there was no statistical difference between the two groups.After treatment,the above indicators were significantly decreased in both groups.There was Statistical significance before and after treatment(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,the comparison between the groups showed that the scores of TCM syndromes,blood uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).(4)The comprehensive efficacy of the two groups of patients was compared,the total effective rate of the control group was 76.6%;the total effective rate of the test group was 90.0%.The comparison between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)In terms of improvement of symptoms,the comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment time with Si-miao-tong-feng-an mixture was significantly shorter than that with Tongfengding capsule.(6)There were no abnormalities in the safety indicators of the two groups,and no clinical adverse reactions occurred.Conclusion:(1)Si-miao-tong-feng-an mixture and Tongfengding capsule can be used to treat damp-heat occlusive gouty arthritis,which can effectively improve uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein levels and clinical symptoms.(2)In treating damp-heat blockage type of gouty arthritis,Si-miao-tong-feng-an mixture is better than Tongfengding capsule.It is effective and safe and worthy of further research and promotion.
