| Objective: This essay aims to study the clinical curative effect of Thermal moxibustion for treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy(CSR) and effect of F-wave EMG as well as the comparison with electric acupuncture plus TDP treatment. So as to provide an objective basis for acupuncture treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis and select more effective treatment.Method: 60 patients with CSR were randomly divided into two groups with one treatment group of acquiring thermal moxibustion and the other control group of receiving electric acupuncture plus TDP. Each group should be based on the comparison of before treatment and after two courses of cure to gain the quantitative score by pain standard and symptoms, signs, EMG F-wave detection as well as their inter-comparison.Results: The treatment effective rate is 92.86%, what’s more, the control group is 88.89%. After treatment, pain scores were significantly decreased, while the signs and symptoms scores were rather increased. The median and ulnar nerve occur rate and F-wave conduction velocity were increased compared with the previous index. All parameters were significantly different from previous condition(P<0.01), and the improvement of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Two comparison’s treatment both can eliminate or improve the patient’s pain and clinical symptoms and promote the repair of damaged nerve in patients with CSR. Besides, the clinical efficacy of the treatment group and treatment group on pain and improving F-Wave were better than the control group. |
