Objectives This paper is to construct a questionnaire on the status quo of Knowledge Attitude and Practice in clinical safe injectionaccording to the theory of Knowledge Attitude and Practice through literature review, qualitative research,Delphi expert consultation, and some reasonable suggestions are put forward after the investigation and analysis of influencing factors. It also provides reference for education and hospital management and for investigations conducted by nursing staff and other group of people. Methods 1.To settle down preliminary items of the questionnaire of the status quo of Knowledge Attitude and Practice of student nurses in clinical safe injection through literature review, summary and analysis of previous research results, qualitative research and group discussions. To test the reliability and representativeness of expert consultation through expert positive coefficient, familiarity degree, authority degree, coordination degree, opinion concentration degree after two rounds of Delphi technique conducted on some expert letters.Eventually,to form a questionnaire which includes 11 items of general data(including other item types)and 3litems of 3 dimensions after careful analysis and collation of expert feedback and modificaton of the expression, presentation and meaning of the entries.2.To confirm the reliability and representativeness of the questionnaire by the analysis of cronbach' a coefficient,test-retest reliability, surface validity and content validity after pre-survey on 28 student nurses by convenience sampling method.3.To investigate the current situation of Knowledge Attitude and Practice in Clinical safe injection of student nurses by the questionnaire and to statistically analyze the results by ways of descriptive analysis, independent samplet test,One-Way ANOVA analysis, multiple linear stepwise regression and so on.Results 1.The results showed that the total cronbach' a coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.785,in which the cronbach' a coefficients of knowledge, attitude and behavior were 0.744,0.812 and 0.716.The pearson correlation coefficient of the questionnaire retest was 0.972(P<0.01),in which knowledge, attitude and behavior were 0.974,0.961 and 0.959.2.The average score of clinical safety injection of knowledge, attitude and behavior were 37.19±3.35,42.41±5.49,52.26±6.49 respectively, and it comes to a grand total of 131.85±11.56.3.There are significant dififerences in the scores in terms of knowledge among the student nurses with different age, education level, hospital grade where they come from and whether they have received clinical safety injection education(P<0.01).There are significant differences in the scores in terms of attitude among the student nurses with different degree of education, hospital grade where they come from and whether or not they have received clinical safety injection education(P<0.01).There are significant differences in the scores in terms of behavior among the student nurses with different degree of education, hospital grade where they come from and whether they have received clinical safety injection education(P<0.01).4.The results of multiple regression analysis show that the main influencing factors in terms of knowledge are age, hospital grade where they come from and whether they have received clinical safety injection education. The main influencing factors in terms of attitude are degree of education, hospital grade where they come from and whether they have received clinical safety injection education. The main influencing factors in terms of attitude are degree of education, hospital level where they come from and whether they have received clinical safety injection education. The main influencing factors in terms of behavior are degrree of education, knowledge reserve and attitude.5.Correlation analysis indicates that there is a positive correlation between clinical safety injection knowledge and behavior(r=0.385,P<0.01),there is a positive correlation between attitude and behavior(r=0.414,P<0.01),and there is no significant difference between knowledge and attitude(P>0.05).There is a positive correlation between the total score and knowledge, attitude and behavior respectively(r=0.557?0.738?0.87,P<0.01).6.The contents of clinical safety injection that student nurses want to learn most are sharp instrument injury protection, correct injection and blood collection operation, blood exposure management, and the best form of learning clinical safety injection knowledge is to offer special courses at school,to conduct pre-job training in hospital and to give student nurses targeted guidance by tutoring teachers. The trainings carried out by the school basic nursing teachers, the departments with teaching teachers and the hospital nursing department are of best effect. Conclusions 1.The questionnaire constructed in this study is reliable and valid, and can be used to evaluate the level of knowledge, belief and behavior of student nurses in clinical safety injection.2.Results reflect that the general level of Knowledge Attitude and Practice of student nurses in clinical safety injection should be improved, and there is no relationship between attitude and knowledge, but there is a correlation between the three factors and the total score. It is suggested that school educators and hospital administrators should strengthen the safety injection knowledge education, improve the pre-job training, and improve the teaching level of nursing teachers according to the relevant factors and suggestions made by the survey respondents. Thus to ameliorate the current situation of insufficient Knowledge Attitude and Practice in clinical safe injection and to ensure health and safety of student nurses and patients.
