violence and stress disorder caused by them, and proposes raising awareness, active prevention, and scientific solution to the spirit.Section nurses suffer from workplace violence and the stress disorder caused by it.Maximize the care requirements of patients and their families, and reduce the incidence of stress disorders in psychiatric nurses.MethodQuestionnaire survey was used to select 400 psychiatric nurses from 16 psychiatric hospitals in Jilin Province subjects.(1)Self-designed questionnaires for the basic situation of the study subjects and the workplace violence investigation questionnaire;(2)The stress disorder self-assessment scale for the occurrence of stress disorders after workplace violence(PTSD-SS)),Assignments: From none = 1,Mild = 2,Moderate = 3,Weight = 4 and Severity = 5,the more scores the more severe the stress disorder, the total score is more than 50 is positive;(3)Simple response work Site violence questionnaire. The on-site issuance, inspection and recovery questionnaires are used. After the questionnaires are collected, they are collected, entered into the computer and checked for logic. This survey questionnaire limits the time, place of occurrence, location of the violence, the situation of the perpetrators of violence, the measures taken, and the psychological changes of the parties in the workplace violence that each psychiatric nurse only selected and had the most harm to.Psychiatric nurses suffering from workplace violence judge themselves).Describe the general information of the study subjects, psychiatric workplace violence,PTSD symptoms, coping styles, and scores for each dimension using the mean ± standard deviation()or percentage. The comparison of PTSD symptom scores for different demographic data was performed using t test or one-way ANOVA.Multi-sample pairwise comparisons(smallest significant difference t-test or analysis of variance after sorting and transformation)were performed to analyze the differences in PTSD symptom scores between different groups.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between PTSD symptoms and traumatic events, coping styles, and dimensions of psychiatric nurses.Result1.Of the 400 questionnaires sent out in this study,386 questionnaires were available.Among them,316 respondents stated that they had suffered violence in the workplace, accounting for 81.9% of the respondents.2.The types of psychiatric workplace violence include: verbal abuse, threats, physical attacks and sexual harassment. The incidence rates are 43.7%,17.4%,27.5% and 11.4% respectively.316 cases of violence occurred in the morning/afternoon of the weekdays, which accounted for 50.4%,which took place at 25.9% by the early morning of the night, and the third was 16.5% after the early hours of the night. Most occurred when many people were on duty, accounting for 83.5%.Violence occurred in 61.1% of wards, followed by hospital corridors(23.8%).Most of the perpetrators were patients(88.6%),and men(56.3%)were more than women(44.7%),most people aged 20-29 years(41.1%),followed by 30-39 years old(39.6%).The perpetrators were not the same at the time, with the highest proportion being mental illness, followed by unreasonable demands.3.The psychiatric nurses occupying 28.8% of the total number are not yet clear about what constitutes workplace violence.Among them,325 psychiatric nurses believe that this matter cannot be avoided.Of the 4.316 psychiatric nurses,208 will choose patiently to deal with violence. After the psychiatric department was exposed to violence in the workplace, its psychology and behavior were affected.Of the 316 questionnaire respondents,189 people felt aggrieved, and there are still 102 people who continue to feel this feeling. In the workplace,40.8% said they would lose their enthusiasm for work.37.3% said they wanted to give up their work.To date,31.3% of psychiatric nurses have indicated that they are not enthusiastic about their work.28.8% said that It still wants to give up work.5.Body attacks had the most serious impact on subjective assessment(r=0.429);physical attacks also had more impact on repeated experience than other dimensions(r=0.341);sexual harassment had the most severe impact on avoidance symptoms(r=0.401).The impact of physical attacks on alertness was slightly higher than its effect on avoidance symptoms(r=0.339).A study of the relationship between demographic characteristics and PTSD found that age, academic qualifications, age of care, and health status all affected it.Conclusion1.For the 316 psychiatric nurses who have been subjected to violence in the workplace, the types of violence include verbal abuse, threats, physical attacks and sexual harassment;the main incidents of violence occur in the morning/afternoon hours when multiple people are on duty.At that time, the probability of a violent incident was about five times that of a single person on duty.2.The location with the highest incidence of violence is the ward, and the 20-to 29-year-old is a high-risk population with violence, and it is mostly male.3.More than 80% of psychiatric nurses believe that they cannot avoid violence in the workplace. In the face of violence in the workplace, most psychiatric nurses choose to be patient.4.At the time of the violence, the psychiatric nurse’s psychological status and behavior were the most significant ones. The response at that time was different from the follow-up,but its impact persisted. The three most significant factors that continue to this day are grievances, loss of enthusiasm for work, and want to abandon the current job.5.Other dimensions, including verbal abuse and physical assault, are positively related to other dimensions including repeated experience and avoidance symptoms.Physical attacks have the most severe impact on the dimensions of psychiatric nurses, including repeated experiences of reproduction and impaired social functions. The development of PTSD is closely related to how it responds to workplace violence.Positive coping styles are negatively related to PTSD,and negative coping is positively related to PTSD.6.The main factors affecting PTSD include traumatic events, negative coping styles, positive coping styles, health conditions, and age of care. |
