Investigation On Main Syndromes Of Perimenopausal Anxiety In Urumqi

Objective: Investigation and analysis of the distribution of common symptoms and TCM syndromes of perimenopausal anxiety patients in Urumqi,Xinjiang.Methods: 600 Han,Uygur and Kazak patients diagnosed as perimenopausal anxiety from January 2017 to March 2019 in gynecology,psychosomatic department of the autonomous region hospital of traditional Chinese medicine and department of gynecology and psychology of the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang medical university,aged 40-60 years old,were selected as research subjects,including 280 Han,200 Uygur and 120 Kazak patients.By conducting a questionnaire survey on all patients and filling in the improved Kupperman Score Scale,TCM Main Symptoms Questionnaire and Self-rating Anxiety Scale,the data were collated,and the distribution of common symptoms and syndromes of anxiety in all patients were statistically analyzed.Results: Of the 600 perimenopausal women anxiety patients in Urumqi,139 cases were of yin deficiency and internal dryness syndrome,accounting for 23.16%,97 cases of liver and kidney yin deficiency,accounting for 16.17%,84 cases of liver-qi stagnation,13.00%,78 cases of kidney yin deficiency,51 cases of phlegm-dampness retardation,7.00%,42 cases of heart-kidney failure,39 cases of kidney yin and yang deficiency,5.83%,23 cases of kidney yang deficiency,3.83%,and 12 cases of qi stagnation and blood stasis,accounting for 2.00%.Of the 600 perimenopausal women with anxiety disorders,406 were mild anxiety,accounting for 67.7%,143 were moderate anxiety,accounting for 23.8%,and 51 were severe anxiety,accounting for 8.5%.Conclusion : The investigation results of anxiety disorders of perimenopausal women in Urumqi region of Xinjiang show that the main symptoms of perimenopausal women aged 40-60 are yin deficiency with internal dryness,liver and kidney yin deficiency,kidney yin deficiency,Liver qi stagnation,phlegm-dampness block,and anxiety disorders are mainly mild anxiety and moderate anxiety.
