| Objective:To investigate the perimenopausal symptoms and depressive, anxious condition of perimenopausal females in clinic.Methods:Self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and general condition questionnaire were used to evaluate 372 perimenopausal women whose aged was more than 40 years old, having the hystera and a unilateral or bilateral ovaries,changing in menstrual or menopausal symptoms or postmenopausal,without recent adverse life events,history of psychological illness and serious organic disease.They were recruited from Shanxi Medical University First Hospital. clinic between March to September,2009. Survey data will be analyzed using statistical software SPSS13.0.Result:1.Perimenopausal symptoms were fatigue(65.3%),the ostalgia, arthralgia courbature (63.2%),agrypni(60.5%),agitation(59.7%),depression(58.3%),dizziness(56.7%),palpitations(53.2 %),hotflashes,sweating(47.8%),headache(47.0%),paresthesia(40.6%),urgency incontinence(40.3%),Vulvar and vaginal discomfort(35.2%), Ant line of skin sense(24.2%).2.The average menstrual cycle changes age was 44.7±3.8 years old, the average perimenopausal symptoms earliest age was 45.9±3.6 years old.There was relativity between the two matters3.In 372 perimenopausal women who accomplished the evaluation, the average depression scoret was (0.36±0.08),here were 6.99% of patients with depression symptom,4.57% with anxiety symptom. the average anxiety symptom score was(27.59±5.46).4. The depressive and anxiety symptoms had no significant positive correlation with the age, education, occupation, menopause and residence.Risk factors of depression and anxiety included hot flashes, sweating, agrypni,. fatigue, palpitations, dizziness, vulvar and vaginal discomfort.Risk factors of depression included the ostalgia,arthralgia courbature. The correlation between depressive and anxiety symptoms was significant.Conclusion:1. Perimenopausal menstrual changes earlier than other symptoms, may be the beginning of perimenopause.Perimenopausal symptoms mainly include fatigue, ostalgia,arthralgia courbature, agrypni and agitation.2. The incidence of mood changes of depression and anxiety in KUPPMAN score is higher than it in Self-rating depression scale.This is probably in relation to the subjective avoid of the women surveyed.3. Perimenopausal women's incidence of depression and anxiety most coincides with the perimenopausal syndrome.4. Depression and anxiety go hand in hand. |
